“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“We had a fiftieth birthday party here for two twin brothers. The patio out back is beautiful. The food was great and the waitstaff is wonderful. This is practically its own institution in Floral Park.“

“My family and I had such a wonderful time celebrating my dad's birthday at this beautiful restaurant. The service was exceptional, Ray was so warm. Although the restaurant was very busy, he and the rest of the staff were attentive and made us all feel welcome. All of the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. “Amazing experience!! I go here RELIGIOUSLY, no other restaurant compares. I’ve tried other places but always come back to Taza. Their food is fresh, delicious and have a variety of options, not to mention with the best price. All the workers are super nice and are VERY generous with their servings, especially for the bowl. They truly care about their customers happiness. They closed for a few days for renovations and I swear I was having withdrawals. But 10/10, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

“Originally we were walking to get pizza but we were reminded of this place along the way. Decided to go and try it instead of pizza. I’m glad we made the last minute decision to do it. I had a wrap with the lemon chicken, rice and a number of unlimited toppings, additions which was very good! Both of my kids and my wife had bowls and agreed that this was the right call. “Everything was tasty except the Chicken Caesar Kale salad. It was crunchy from lots of sand particles. The kale must have not been washed well. It ruined the whole salad including chicken and had to throw it out. The Thai shrimp salad was much better.“

“Stopped by Kebab House in Great Neck and tried the beef kofta—great portion size, nicely seasoned, and cooked to juicy perfection. The flavor really stood out. It came with salad, white sauce, and warm pita, which rounded out the meal nicely. Only downside was the rice, which I found too mushy and a bit bland for my taste. Overall, a solid spot for Middle Eastern flavors with well-prepared meats. Worth checking out if you're in the area.“
