“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“We had a fiftieth birthday party here for two twin brothers. The patio out back is beautiful. The food was great and the waitstaff is wonderful. This is practically its own institution in Floral Park.“

Sam, the chef, came out from the kitchen and personally greeted us and explained the menu. The meal was very delicious and well presented. “Amazing experience!! I go here RELIGIOUSLY, no other restaurant compares. I’ve tried other places but always come back to Taza. Their food is fresh, delicious and have a variety of options, not to mention with the best price. All the workers are super nice and are VERY generous with their servings, especially for the bowl. They truly care about their customers happiness. They closed for a few days for renovations and I swear I was having withdrawals. But 10/10, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

“Stopped by Kebab House in Great Neck and tried the beef kofta—great portion size, nicely seasoned, and cooked to juicy perfection. The flavor really stood out. It came with salad, white sauce, and warm pita, which rounded out the meal nicely. Only downside was the rice, which I found too mushy and a bit bland for my taste. Overall, a solid spot for Middle Eastern flavors with well-prepared meats. Worth checking out if you're in the area.“

“Nice set up here with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a pizza oven in the back that is slanging some good stuff out. The pizza michaelango was pretty good. It had albanian sausage on it. It was a little oily for my liking but still good. The regular pizza was also good. They do a nice job with the crust here. The burrata to start was just ok so would probably just stick with pizza next time.“
