I ordered a cosmo with a local cucumber vodka, which was perfectly balanced. My partner got their bourbon cocktail which was seasoned with allspice bitters. I also had to try their espresso martini which was one of the best I've had, great flavor and intense coffee notes enhanced with a hazelnut liquor. Their staff was also incredible and very attentive. They have a wood oven they make all their pizzas in, minus the gluten free.Gluten free is prepared and cooked separately to reduce cross contamination. Be prepared to wait +20 minutes for a gf pizza.I ordered the pizza special on the gluten free crust. Not bad! It’s a bit thicker (not full Detroit but not NYC thin). Overall, not bad. I would order it again, but this wouldn’t be my first choice for a GF pizza. The crust fine, a little dense and premade.They have a couple of fun mocktail options that aren’t some overpriced lemonade junk. I would recommend going for the atmosphere and drinks (alcoholic or not). I’m excited to see what else I can try on the menu.The staff are so friendly and helpful! “My husband and I came here for the first time this past weekend. We were immediately seated after confirming our reservation, and our server (I wish we got his name/remembered!) was amazing!! He was very good about telling us where everything was sourced from, and he was also very convincing about how good the food they served was. I was interested in the Amish Chicken but was skeptical since I had no idea what a cream sherry was. When I asked him about it, he answered that it was rich in flavor and that he really enjoyed it. He must have still sensed my hesitancy and said, "Would you like to try some?", which I was so surprised about! He brought me over a small bowl with the cream sherry, and it was really good (savory with slight tartness to it). Everything we ordered was amazing, but it was his service that really made our experience so wonderful - thank you SO much!! We will definitely be back again!“

Classy and small, amazing selection of whiskeys, cozy, beautifully lit, astonishingly good food- Flight West has it all. Except one thing. If you’re going to offer so much beautiful scotch, you’ve got to get Drambuie. Nothing beats a Rusty Nail as an after dinner drink. I’d like to give it a 4.9 stars. Try the bao bao buns! “I've been going here since before covid. This place always has a wide selection of ciders from all over NY. Food and drink specials nearly every weekend. The canned beer selection is also top-notch. Sometimes, the wait is a little long if you go first thing when they open for brunch on the weekend, but that's to be expected considering the size of the place. But the food is good! Plenty of parking on either side of the building or if you get lucky, on-street in front of the building is nice.“

It was too noisy but it is a pretty restaurant. the waitress was nice and pleasant but should not lean over customers as a rule when passing things , she seemed to do this a lot especially at one end of the table where someone was sitting and he did not like it. “We really liked the quiet and under-decorated nature of The Hideaway. It was uncluttered and relaxed and unpretentious. We could talk and hear each other effortlessly which is so much more enjoyable than most restaurants that are so loud these days. Our waitress was very attentive. The Buffalo cauliflower was the best we’d ever eaten. It was so light and so tasty with a great accompanying dip. The burger tasted great with very natural flavors and the toppings blended in a way that was delicious but not too forward or “loud”. I was underwhelmed by the brioche bun. It was fine but not up to the snuff of the quality of the burger. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The Brussels sprout, mushroom, and creamy purée of something side was good but not spectacular. The cocktail, something with plum liqueur, was one of the best we’ve had anywhere in Rochester. We’ll become regulars here.“

I have been going on and off for almost 20 years now, it is the only Goth club in town and we are lucky that it happens to be a good one.It is one of the only places in Rochester with a real dance floor with mirrors and a stone pillar right in the center.It's a mood.“
