“Cutest little shop on our trip to the Catskills! They have a little bit of everything, we were able to get fire starter, cold drinks, and baseball caps to commemorate our trip. They also have a cute little icecream window and it was superb! I had mint chocolate chip and brownie batter and my partner had vanilla and they were stellar ✨”

“We recently visited Tannersville, New York. We had asked our Airbnb hosts to send us a recommendation for a bakery, for a cake for my son’s birthday, and I am So happy they recommended Shandaken Bake! The cake was delicious and super cute too. We knew this was a place we had to come back to - we wanted to try all the baked goods we could. We went two other days in a row, and started off the morning with the most perfect biscuits. Both were excellent, but the Cheddar + Chive Biscuit was extra special. We ended up taking other things home with us both days, and everything was fantastic - the Chocolate Chunk Cookie, the Blueberry Buckle, the Chubby Squirrel, the Chocolate Banana Bread and the Banana Cake. We can’t wait for our next visit to the area because we know there are other goodies that we still need to try. Besides the taste, quality, and presentation of the baked goods themselves, the bakery is perfectly set-up for sitting and eating or picking up. It is a very well thought out space, impeccably designed not only for functionally for food preparation and customer service, but it is also a beautiful space. You have to see for yourself. The owner also couldn’t be nicer. We really enjoyed talking to him, and we appreciate his obvious passion for what he does. Go visit Craig at Shandaken and experience a culinary delight, or two - you won’t be disappointed!”

“Shout out to Justice’s mom! She’s the chef here and kind of a genius. My friends and I stopped at Albergo for breakfast during upstate art weekend and it was the highlight of our trip. The food was incredible, and the ambience was so sweet and welcoming, we couldn’t help but feel like a part of the family. So glad this place exists and we can’t wait to come back. Everyone come eat here!!!”
“Such a cute hotel! I stayed here for a wedding and the staff were so amazing. Katie was so accommodating and hospitable and helped me with everything I needed. Will hopefully be back soon!”

“The second you walk into Matilda, it becomes immediately clear that you're in a special place.
The service is impeccable, yet warm. The food is complex, but still comforting. It was an incredibly serene dining experience that my fiancee and I will be sure to turn into a tradition every time we visit the catskills.”

“This place is amazing. The dry aged steak is on par with any of Manhattan's best steakhouses. Every bit of food was fresh and delicious, and the presentation was perfect. The portions were very generous. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful. The staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The chef owner, Jeff, came out to greet us and make sure we were enjoying everything. Everything was perfect. The experience here is how every restaurant experience should be.”

“coffee was delicious, a lot of different options & i love the asian grocery options that were available for sale.
only 4 stars because we waited about 20 minutes for 2 cups of coffee 🙃 & it didn’t seem like there was any urgency. we came up from NYC so maybe we’re just used to the hustle there. would skip if you’re on a time crunch.”

“I can only say good things about Fellow. I love their breakfast sandwiches, and their cinnamon rolls are the bees knees. Any and every-time I’m in the Hunter area I have to stop here and grab a meal. Highly recommend this gem of a spot.”

“My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us. We would highly recommend Prominence!”

“Ran some errands in Saugerties with my wife and dog. Stopped here for some ice cream. The afternoon snack was good, service was good. They even gave me a free bowl of vanilla soft serve topped with a dog biscuit for our pup, he loved it. Service was very good and friendly.”

“Fred’s is the perfect little neighborhood stop — cozy, friendly, and full of that old-school charm. The donuts are fresh, fluffy, and not overly sweet, with great variety (the classic glazed is a must-try). The coffee is strong, smooth, and pairs perfectly with the pastries. Staff are warm and welcoming, making the experience even better.”

“I’ve never been to this hotel. The swimming hole behind is where you should go. The current at the bottom is not as dangerous as it seems, but don’t attempt to swim if you’re a weak swimmer (for safety).
Nearby activities: Go to the swimming hole.”

“I went in here last night and sat at the bar. At first, the bartender was a little bit rude. But he came around and was fine after that. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It was huge. It could easily have fed 2 people. The pizza was very good. Not the best I've ever had, but very solid indeed. The wine pour was also very generous. The prices were very modest My only negative was that it's very noisy. Maybe a few properly placed plants, but a good experience all in all.”
