My berry smoothie(modified the oj for almond milk) wasn't as good as the first time I had it, wasn't cold enough or as sweet but ok. I enjoyed my Chipotle omelet. “I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

Also, the quality of the food you would think that the prices would be way more than they are. This place is a hidden gem. I don’t understand why it’s not packed all the time.“

“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“

“I had the three sliders this time. They were very good. I wish they had asked me if I wanted cheese on all three. They only had cheese on one. But that's minor. The taste was wonderful. The fries were crispy. And our waiter was wonderful. Kept checking on us. I really like this diner so when I'm down County I try to stop in for something to eat. Definitely recommend this diner“

“The food was good the waiter was good not a lot of tables but just enough. You can hear your conversation so it’s very comfortable. I had the turkey bacon and turkey sausage with scramble eggs and an English muffin a bacon egg and cheese was also ordered which was also tasty. Great breakfast.“

“It is a tradition old time confectionary shop you just don’t see anymore. You don’t even need a menu everything is deckhouse. Their breakfasts foods are my ultimate faves but it’s all good. Their ice creams and homemade chocolate is like no other. The self distancing and mask 😷 rules are practiced to the maximum. Very safe place to eat inside. Very self distanced.“

“Sunday morning, I took a quick walk and had a nostalgic breakfast on the way home. Freshly made omelets, toast, and coffee☕️The small shop is also busy from the morning. There is terrace seating, and the restaurant caters to a wide range of age groups. Today's morning menu. Lunch is also good!

“Overall, Haiku is pretty good, they are consistent and I like them. To my understanding, there are 3 locations around me including the White Plains, Scarsdale and Bronxville locations. I have found that the Bronxville location ONLY charges me for a lesser substititution. I ordered a sushi roll and opted out of TUNA for a substitution that is cheaper in price, and I was charged a fee, again, only at this location, as I have done this at the White Plains/Scarsdale locations and no additional fee was charged. I cannot see why I was charged a fee, like I said, the replacement that I opted for is lesser in price than tuna and I believe the sushi is made fresh everytime, so I would say it was an INCONVENIENCE fee, but in this instance, I don't know if that can be applied, but who knows. Again, only at this location. Just a heads up for fellow customers.“
