“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“Walked the Tappan Zee Bridge from Rockland to Westchester and made our way to the Taco Project for awesome Chicken Tacos and some Mango Margaritas! After all we earned it! 😉 Will definitely be back again and will recommend to all my friends!“

“IT WAS HORRIBLE. AS A MEXICAN I DO NOT APPROVE, THIS PLACE HAD BAD BAD FOOD, FIRST OF ALL THEY SERVED ME AN ORANGE WITH TACOS, WHO DOES THAT? WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND GIVE ORANGES WITH TACOS, NUH UH. ALSO, I FOUND OUT THAT THEIR GUACAMOLE IS NOT EVEN MEXICAN RECEPIE, IT TASTED LIKE WASABI WITH TOO MUCH MAYO EXPECT IT WAS NOT EVEN WASABI, AND ALSO THERE WERE NOT ONLY HAIRS IN MY FOOD BUT THERE WA A FRAKING ROACH SINGING LA CUCARACHA WITH MEXICAN HAT AND LITTLE TINY MARACAS. “I had the BEST experience at Taco Express! This was only my second time visiting, and I’m honestly so upset that I waited so long to come back.
The first time I visited, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order. The team was incredibly patient with me, answered my questions, and even offered me samples to help me decide. I remember leaving that day telling myself I would definitely be back.
I work at a nearby hospital, so it can be difficult for me to get out during my break. But as soon as I finally had the opportunity, I knew Taco Express was exactly where I wanted to go.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Once again, I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted, and the team took the time to guide me through the options and help me decide without making me feel rushed.
As someone who has worked in food service for over 20 years and now manages food service in a hospital, I know great customer service when I see it and the service at Taco Express is TOP-NOTCH! The patience, hospitality, and friendliness of the entire team really stood out to me.
I definitely won’t wait this long to come back again. Taco Express, you officially have a loyal customer in me! 🌮❤👏“

“The Food here is the same as there other locations but this location is more of a restaurant they have nice interior with a neutral blue and white color scheme as well as there packaging. The employees are polite and make sure everything is taken care of, if your missing salsa or if something is wrong and needs to be changed overall 10/10 for Don Chuy’s Tako“

“Had an amazing GF experience! Service was top notch and so friendly. All the tacos and sides were the kind you never want to end. Even got some in lettuce wraps. Recommend: Everything! Stand out tacos: Mahi-mahi, shrimp, short rib, friend calamari. Sides: street corn, rice & beans, charred broccoli. Dessert: Churros!“

“Love this hole in the wall Cafe. The worker's are pleasant and the food is superb! I never spend more than $30 for two here. Their grilled chicken in a burrito and in a bowl is to die for. Great food and great service all across the board. I can order from here at least 3-4 times a week; breakfast, lunch, and or dinner. You will never be disappointed.“

“Tucked away in the heart of New Rochelle’s predominantly Mexican community, this little hole‑in‑the‑wall spot turned out to be a gem. I ordered the steak tacos and the birria tacos, and both were surprisingly delicious — tender meat, great seasoning, and portions that actually feel generous. You can tell it’s family owned and operated from the moment you walk in. Definitely worth stopping by if you want authentic flavors without the frills.“

“La La is a warm, friendly neighborhood taqueria in the heart of downtown Pelham and the tacos are superb. The owner is from Oaxaca and he knows his tacos! We eat there regularly and almost always order the special taco of the day. They are original, freshly made and bursting with unexpected flavors, often a delightful combination of creamy, spicy, savory and sweet. We just had the Cochinita Pibil taco and I think it was the best yet. The tortillas are also flavorful and tender.“

“Randomly stumbled on this place because my dryer broke. Had to do a few loads and this place is right next door to the laundry mat. Probably some of the tastiest Mexican food I’ve ever had, and most authentic. The price cannot be beat. I go there and try random things all the time, today I want to try the Chilaquiles. Next time, I wanna try the Pozole Verde. He also informed that they serve tamales on Saturdays and Sundays. I loveeeeeeee this place and recommend to anybody.“

“Honestly, I never write reviews but tonight we dined here for the second time and I had to. The food is fantastic, genuinely find my eyes rolling into the back of my head after every bite. The guacamole is outstanding and the chips and salsa are unparalleled— I mean HOT and fresh chips?! Get outtttt. The margs are great and the staff is so friendly and lovely all around. Will 100% be coming back to try everything. If you’re considering going, DO IT! 10/10“

“I first saw the prices and thought it was a little much, but completely worth it. The torta and nachos were huge and delicious and the service was also great. $45 had me and girlfriend rlly full with plenty of leftovers. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“
