“The sandwiches are great. The hoagie bread is always fresh and delicious. The Mimi’s chicken parm with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella is always a hit. When you place an online order it’s actually ready when you requested it to be. I know that seems like it’s something that always happens but so often with other places it’s either been cooked way in advance and cold or you’re standing around waiting for it well after promised. Leonardo’s always gets it right.“

“Good sandwiches (especially roast beef, corned beef, Italian Combo, VC club) and delicious potato salad, but I am frustrated because the bread is often very stale. I would say this has happened with 1 out of every 3 sandwiches I have ordered there and it ruins the sandwich. I feel like I'm taking a risk every time I order. I have also had a really hard time ordering by phone as it's extremely difficult to hear the staff on the other end. They are usually pretty fast, but I would really like more consistency. It's too bad. With a little more quality control, it would be an awesome spot to frequent.“

“Tried this place impulsively and happy I did.Delicious classic breakfast sandwichs quicker than any other bagel spot in the area and noticeably cheaper. The sausage egg and cheese has some bit of spice and or seasoning that was awesome. Highly recommend over Nyack Hot Bagels“

Michelle was very responsive and called me soon after I emailed about availability, and then we handled all details over email (which I preferred). We wish we could have taken a bit of everything but decided to go with the kimchi, full sour pickles, and sweet pickled garlic. I almost finished all the garlic and kimchi in one sitting! They were all delicious and as someone who has eaten dozens of kimchi types/brands, the pickle man’s kimchi is the real deal! Just the right amount of saltiness, sourness, and crunch. “always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“

“My go to is the sausage egg and cheese, but all their offerings are good. Excellent taste and can't beat the prices. Service is also quick and friendly. It's close to the train station too so I sometimes grab a bite to eat while I wait for the train.“

There are just some places you can tell take pride in the kind of product they’re putting out. Delicious ingredients and care make for the best food, every time- something they have perfected here. Country deli’s staff were friendly and everyone seemed to have a genuine smile. One of their regulars walked in behind me- they knew him by name and began making his sandwich before the door was shut behind him. Rest assured I will frequent enough to be known by them from now on. Fighting myself on going back to order another sandwich right now.“
