“I grew up eating Wall's and so without fail, whenever I'm back home (and it's not that often) I make a stop to get a ridiculous amount of my all time favorite cookies and babka. This place hasn't changed at all in the last few decades I've been there and I'm sure since it opened, and I'm glad it hasn't. Walking in through the parking lot door is like walking through a Time Machine. Memories of being in there as a kid, and still feeling the joy of picking out our cookies makes me so incredibly happy. But, hate to say the red and green leaf cookies are gone - those were my fav but not to worry, all the other household favorites are still there, and still delicious.“
“Been here twice already and I'll be coming back! I love supporting small family owned shops but it's easy here because the desserts/pastries here are delicious. The desserts are Filipino-inspired which is not commonly seen in this area. I've tried their basque cheesecake, ube donut, and their Bicho bicho, along with the ube foam iced coffee. I'm not even a big fan of ube but that recommended ube donut was a pleasant surprise. I'll be back to try their croissants :-)“
“At first glance, you would think this shop is just a wholesaler, but to my surprise you can actually buy boxes too!! They have a wide array/variety of sweets and all of them looked heavenyl. The gentleman whowas running the place is extremely professional and helpful. He allowed me to sample 4-5 pieces of the sweet itself. I ended up buying 4 small boxes and 2 big boxes. Toally affordable priced as well! My favorite was definitely the “Mango barfi” which is a milk based sweet. I finally have a place i can go to for all my sweet needs! Especially since it is Ramadan and sweets are necessary for every iftaar.“
“We booked our son’s baptism with Frank’s steaks in RVC and they are affiliated with whistle stop for the occasion cake. I was so blown away by this cake I had to come and make a review. It’s so hard to find a good sheet cake for special occasions. The flavor and texture of the cake was so delicious. We chose a chocolate mouse filling and it exceeded our expectations. The cake was so so delicious and beautifully decorated, which is also hard to come by with these types of cakes. I would definitely use them for future occasion cakes. It was perfect and my guests were asking where the cake was from so they could use in the future. Thank you so much whistle stop. :)“
“This old-school Asian bakery serves some of the best sponge cakes that are, you guessed it, not too sweet. Yeh's Bakery has been a staple in Flushing for 36 years. Their Boston Cream Pie is made out of two layers of sponge cake and fresh cream, and is one of their best sellers. If you want it, make sure to come early because sometimes they sell out. It's so light and airy, so soft and fluffy, and so freaking good. Sponge cakes are already good, but sponge cakes with cream are even better. Yeh's also serves slices of some of their light, airy, and soft sponge cakes for $1.70 (sliced flavors like the green tea and vanilla, but not the strawberry or taro). Whole rolls go for $15 each. Cakes start at 8 inches with flavors including vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea, taro, and chestnut. You can even make the cakes into a heart shape! For their egg tarts, their custard is very light and soft. Great for people who don't like their egg tarts too creamy or heavy! Being a Taiwanese bakery, they also sell Taiwanese pineapple cakes at $2 each with two cake rectangles inside. The next time I go to Taiwan, imma eat pineapple cakes like these everyday. Don't forget to bring cash! What we ordered: Boston cream pie $2.75 green tea sponge cake $1.70 egg tart $1.70 Taiwanese pineapple cake $2 Total: $8.15“
“We ordered a custom biscoff cake for my daughters birthday. The communication was great; super understanding when we had to reschedule our order to a different day last minute so A+ for service. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and it was so moist and flavorful. Every parent at the birthday party asked where we got the cake. This is our new go to spot!“
“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items. My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich. The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. Hopefully they can improve drinks!Parking: 4 in front of the store“
“Wanted a nice cup of velvety not too sweet strong coffee! Found this gem and the Lady up front so sweet! Recommended a macchiato. Got the vanilla flavor and she made it perfect! So happy found another coffee spot that is worth the beans for your bucks! And service too!“
“The croffles here are really good! I really like the blueberry, Oreo, and cherry flavors! They are pretty big and the price is very reasonable! The mochi donuts are ok, I'd rather get a croffle for two more dollars. The space is pretty tight so it can't accommodate large groups unless you go to the outside seating areas. Each time I have gone the staff have been eh, lots of workers scrambling around and not being helpful, but other than that the quality of the croffles out weighs my annoyance with the staff.“
“This place looks very artsy on the outside, once you step inside you feel like you’re at home with the decor. There are two self serve kiosks which are really well designed and easy to use. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! Definitely come here for authentic Korean street food.“
“This place has amazing food and brings so much nostalgia for authentic Korean corn dogs, twist bread, and donuts. Service is great. I highly recommend the corn dogs and korean donuts, as well as sweet potato ball. Reserve ahead of time for pickup if you are ordering for a group.Vegetarian options: Sweet potato balls, twist bread, corn dogs“
“This is a must try for all those with a bit of a sweet tooth. Their cupcakes are soooo good. The owner is such a nice person, and you can taste the love put into the food. Thank you for your generosity and kind spirit.Friendly neighborhood amazon delivery driver ?“
“I never had Mochi donuts and wanted to try and found this gem! Glad I came here to try their sweets. Mochi donuts were amazing as well as the fat macarons. They were tasty with the perfect amount of sweet! Whenever I'm in the area, I will be sure to stop by again.“
“Gelato is tasty and superb . ButThe ladies behind the counter had a noticeably annoying attitude . Maybe ill give them the benefit if the doubt that it was near closing time and there was still a handful of customersJust wanted to point that out because I know businesses always strive for improvement“
“Food was amazing and the service was even better. The kind woman who served me gave me some samples of the other meats which were so delicious. The baked chicken and pork chop were falling off the bone so tender and flavorful. Tried their homemade passion fruit juice and it tastes amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu!“
“A lovely, sunny and delicious respite from the cares of the world... How wonderful to find a place that serves top notch vegan fare--both sweet and some savory offerings too. Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“
“Came in to snag a chocolate chip and one of the employees blessed me with free iced cream with my warm cookie and mannnnnn that was the best cookie combo I ever had, I ended up buying my girlfriend one. I’ll for sure be back to try all the flavors.“
“Grew up in the Meadow when there were only a few bagel stores to pick from, yet visit from the south I always visit SantaFe and bring home a piece of LI ! Staff is always pleasant and bagels fresh. Still haven't figured out how many extra I get w a dozen but no complaints.“
“First time here with my family! Lovely place with all the sweets! Owner very friendly! We got two cupcakes, a chocolate brownie and a coconut ube cookie! Cookie not too sweet, cupcakes are delicious and the chocolate brownie definitely my favorite ^u^ Will definitely go back and try the rest of the sweets that they have!“
“Baking skills are top notch. This is a rare find especially in Queens. I had to order 32 cupcakes for my sister baby shower, half of the cupcakes were of an intricate design and the other was a simple cupcake design with sprinkles. And my socks were knocked off with how well the cupcakes turned out they look exactly like the reference photos. They were a hit at the baby shower, everyone was impressed by the taste and the look. Only place in Queens where you can get high quality baked goods for such an amazing price. I have to say the deserts from Plum Blossom is so much better than Martha's and Magnolia Bakery.“
“I have to share my experience with the special bread we call it shoureki , We usually use it for special occasions. It was out of this world, the flavours of bread it stays not only in your mouth it follows you in your mind like you're gonna have more ,even if you have to watch out ,it is worth it, we thank you.“
“I have never been here before, but would always drive past it. The new ownership is very friendly and the cafe is so cozy and vibey. This is a great place to catch up with a friend and have a sweet time. Also, the bathroom is clean (big plus for me). I will absolutely be coming back.“
“Not a formal restaurant , but a great 'take out' place with authentic English pasties and pies .The owner/chef is english , and makes the food as properly crafted "across the pond" . True to form , they also sell 'biscuits and cakes' made there , also .The pizzas are an added treat , and are priced at less than $2.00/slice currently , and after 9:00 p.m. a slice is just $1.50 ! . Whole pies ? .... go there to find out the price or check the website . Limited parking out front , and across from a 'petrol' station . Antonio's ..... who'd have thought ??“
“Today I purchased some cupcakes and they were phenomenal!! Highly recommend coming here for desserts. I have been wanting to try their stuff for a minute now and today I had a sweet tooth, and it was definitely exceptional. Definitely will be spreading the word and will be coming back.“
“Anita is exceptional. Her cakes and desserts were delicious and a highlight of my sister’s baby shower. She’s professional, thorough and attentive. Anita’s email and number have a permanent home in my contacts. Do yourself a favor and book with her.“
“Great bakery with amazing sandwiches and pastries. Now they opened a meat restaurant next door!! I took my daughter to eat at Noir last night. Was really good! The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. The dining room filled up while we were there, on a random Tuesday!! And everyone seemed to be enjoying. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Very convenient location..Perfect spot for enjoying a cup of coffee..I ordered the crunch dessert and it was delicious!..loved it..it was a Nutella dream come true..but we also ordered the tiramisu and that was disappointing..the coffee powder was thick instead of a light coat so the first bites tended to be dry..there was a cream colored swirl topping that we thought was a soft cream..it wasn't..it was hard and very bland tasting..tiramisu wasn't worth the price..“
“One of the best places for cakes and muffins. We were big fan of this place since a long time and glad to come to this new store. The cakes are full of buttercream and just the right amount of sweetness. The ingredients are Halal, so quite a relief for the Muslims to eat the Mousse. Also, appreciate the blend of flavors available.I didn't like the slice of brownie as I found it very dry inside.“
“The cookies here are to die for! Surprisingly they also sell donut holes. And for the price, variety, and taste they are an absolute must! I got one of each flavor, and each one was better then the next. Like..Tim hortons and dunkin who? Hahaha. For only $15 we got a mini carrot cake, a dozen donut holes, and a large sprinkle cookie. What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. You can even get dog treats, edible cake decorations prepacked loaf cakes and cookies.Even though they take credit cards, they have an ATM inside for convenience. So if you're trying to hop on the RVC train and need cash, you can quickly open in.Parking is metered street parking. There is more parking on the one way street around the corner, if you can't find one in the front.“
“Best pastries, friendly owners & staff, have been getting my cookies, pastry, from them for years. Oh,! And they sell their delicious ricotta cheese cake by the slice.Parking: ConvenientWheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the street no stairs“
“Had an amazing time there as the owner is so personable and aims to have a “small cafe in Connecticut kind of feel” which I definitely got. She really works to personalize your orders and is willing to try new recipes. I got the chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies , double chocolate cookies, and bloodies which all tasted incredible! I highly recommend anyone with a special diet whether it be gluten (which she has a separate area of the kitchen for), vegan, kosher, etc. this is your place!“
“We are new to the area and wanted to try it. We came in January but they were closed for the month! Today they were open and I ordered 2 chocolate croissants before I found out they only take Venmo or cash. They were kind enough to take my $7 and and a IOU. The chocolate croissant was good although the only other time I had one was in Paris, the one in Paris was better. But I will be back to pay what I owe and try what the reviewers recommend!“
“Been coming here for a few years and I love this place! The staff is always friendly and their baked good are delicious! I never mind the trip even though it’s a bit far from me because it’s well worth it! Perfect to get something for any occasion or just to stop by for a sweet treat. Highly suggest trying any of their pastries with fresh fruit and cream as the fruit is always fresh and the cream is perfectly sweetened!“
“Kind of a hidden gem. Food is good. Prices are reasonable but if you're looking for something trendy this is not the place. At first glance. I don't think most people would even realize that they serve food it just looks like a small bakery. Don't let that intimidate you sit at one of the tables. Look through the menu and give the food a try.“
“Absolutely amazing! Born in New York and these are one of the best I ever had. Got to be on top of list. Their eggs and cheese with hash brown and they got turkey bacon is like crack. I get two because the line is long and the first time I had it I devoured it in 2 minutes. Waited like 40 minutes, on a Sunday at 10:30 but they got so many workers. If you’re in a rush I would order through Uber eats. It might be a little more expensive but won’t have to wait in line. They also but a ridiculous amount of cream cheese on a bagel I have to remind to put light next time. It’s enough for like three bagels. I like cream cheese but not how much they put, had to wipe almost 75 percent off with the paper.“
“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“
“Friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, and delectable desserts! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Bought a tiramisu slice, chocolate banana pudding & chai- absolutely delicious! Not even vegan but would definitely come back here again ?“
“My mom put me on to this place. It's in the neighborhood. Today I brought bae for a breakfast sandwhich even though it was already afternoon. Hey, breakfast is ok anytime of the day. I like this neighborhood spot. Definately a good place for a bacon egg and cheese, salt pepper and ketchup on a roll. Bae got an egg and cheese butter and mayo. As she likes itI like when bae orders what she wants. They got everything here. Get some pastries too. To go too. Liek theybsat "Anything else?" "Algo mass?"They have a big selection of Latin origin food and treats. Head over there for some empanadas. Lotz of variety all fresh“
“Never underestimate the power of good food. Eating delicious food can be a life changing experience. I'm not usually the type to write a review on a restaurant, but I have to undoubtedly admit medina halal was of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. From amazing service to delicious food the list Carries on and I would highly recommend for you to go there whilst you’re in Worthing. Your truly Devendra Bishoo“
“I ordered my son’s birthday cake from Little Shark and everyone loved it!! First time all the cake disappeared! The cake looked amazing and was delicious! I ordered the oreo cake and it was perfect. I highly recommend Little Shark. And they also make great bubble tea!!“
“My first recommended place for bakery items and coffee chat. The coffee has a strong and robust flavor without being overwhelming and especially their americano overwhelms the coffee I ever had. Their bakery items are neat and not too sweetened and that really is what I would go for. The atmosphere is great with great service from the staffs.“
“What an extraordinary hidden NOOK on an early SUNDAY MORNING when every coffee shop in the area at 630AM is closed.I pass through Queens a lot and even go out of my way for this place for a decent, inexpensive cup of coffee ☕️ ? $1.50. Always rich tasting smooth and ? HOT?.You wouldn't know to find this bakery without a road map because it is squished between two stores, but there it IS!!!, in plain sight. The pastries are always fresh and delicious. There are NO TABLES to sit and enjoy the ambiance, but with a little creative injuinity and there are small parks with benches within walking distance (in yellow circled, included picture) and a metered parking lot also within a few feet of the Bakery. I totally GET why this place is WAY CHEAPER than STARBUCKS OR DUNKIN?, it is smaller in size but between the TASTE AND COST to me it is worth it ?.THANKFULLY they also stick with good old AMERICAN "CASH ONLY" and not digital pay.??I wouldn't either, we don't need it!Don't be intimidated by the Asian writing on the door as if the Bakery only caters to Asians?, it doesn't ??*(I INCLUDED PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF THE DESERT "CREAM BUN" IN MY REVIEW)DaveLong Island NYParking: Paid parking lot just down the street next to the church difficult to get a spot. Or park your car outside flushing Main Street take the bus in“
“Amazing bakery in a convenient location.Go there for a coffee and leave with a ton of desserts. I come here 2-3 days a week and always enjoy a few Meia-de-Leite! The best coffee I have tasted in the neighborhood with great service. Bakery has fresh bread daily, with delicious sandwiches and awesome sweets. The pastel de nata is so tasty feels like your in Portugal.Kid-friendliness: They have little tables with kid chairs on the side. I take my two year old and he enjoys people watching while having his juice and bread.“
“First of all, if you have small hands, dining in, and ordering an Americano? Ask for it in a disposable cup! The cup is HUGE! It's cute, photo worthy...yet...HUGE! Please reference the photo I've posted if you don't believe me.. Anyways! If your map is taking you somewhere questionable, Le Pain Quotidien is located at the Roosevelt field mall right next to Neiman Marcus and Vince. There's plenty of parking during brunch time. If you're shopping, you can find them on the first floor near the entrance to the mall between those two stores. Le Pain Quotidien is beautiful inside and clean. There are plenty of seating and different tables to choose from. They have flowers on every table and I think that's quite lovely. You enter, seat yourself. If you're on the go, you can stand in line to order. The staff is very friendly. It can be busy. It took them quite some time to bring out our food. If you've never been there, I suggest taking a look at their menu beforehand. There were a lot of delicious choices so it took us a while to decide on what we want. We ordered the organic mini Dutch pancakes with berries to share, Chicken mozzarella melt tartine with avocado (extra charge), turkey bacon & avocado tartine with an organic egg (extra charge), and a toasted paris ham & Gruyère croissant. For drinks, we ordered apple juice, an americano, and an iced latte. Everything was delicious and full of flavor! I highly recommend the mini Dutch pancakes with berries. It was light and scrumptious! The dishes were quite big so I'm sure you can share. We didn't. We were too busy devouring it. We became very quiet when the food came out. I believe I was breathing in my food.. For those who are watching their calories, their calorie count is pretty low. I had a hard time looking for something that was over 500 calories.. That's why I added the extra side order of organic egg with my meal! I thought it was very helpful to see the calories on the menu next to the dish. It would've been nice if the macros would've been posted but I'm not complaining! I plan on coming here more often to try out the different menu items and to read. I'm not sure what the time limit is to stay there but I guess I'll find out and update this review!“
“I have been meaning to stop by this bakery for a while. I grabbed a Too Good To Go recently, so it made me keep a promise to myself to visit. The entire neighborhood smells delicious from their baking. You walk in and are overwhelmed with the huge variety of delicious looking baked treats. It's more like a cafe inside than a traditional bakery. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and gave us our box. The treats within were beyond amazing. Rich flavours and excellent textures. This place is top notch! Now I need to make a point to visit more often.“
“I happen to be coming here at the Conduit, more often than the Linden Blvd location. The ladies are very courteous and professional. The toto is great, the stew peas and the chicken soup is toppa toppa!! Wednesdays and Fridays with pigtails, for those who like it in their stew peas. I love me some Patmar!!“
“Had a sweet tooth craving and decided to visit Lulu and Dino. ☺️ First impression of the place, it is decorated beautifully, charming, outdoor patio great for meeting friends to have a chat over coffee, lunch or dessert. The staff are super friendly. We ordered the one serving pistachio mousse. Don't underestimate its portion size. It comes with a full blast of flavors (though a bit on the sweeter side for me), richness and very smooth. Totally enjoyed our dessert. Will be back to test their coffee on my next visit.Keep up the good work!“
“I don't write many reviews, but I feel obligated to do so when credit is due!I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at The Inn at New Hyde Park. They recommended I contact Just Delightfull for decorations and dessert, which I fortunately did.Just Delightfull did an incredible job. I wanted simple decor for a lounge-like experience. They created a beautiful 50 marquee with the colors I requested and had candles placed throughout the space, setting the vibe I was looking for. The desserts were amazing (and delicious). I wanted a nautical theme, but nothing childish. They created a beautiful dessert station with cakes, pops, pretzels, etc. Fun, colorful and exactly what I had envisioned. The topper, however, was the custom cake. I sent a few photos of what I was looking for and they hit the ball out of the park. Every single attendee stopped to admire the cake and take photos. Great attention to detail. And finally, I wanted simple cookies displaying a childhood photo of my husband as party favors. Again, perfect 10.I've shared a few photos here.My correspondence with Just Delightfull was all via email, which suited me best. They were responsive and offered suggestions and guidance. When I arrived at the venue for the party, everything was in place and ready to go.I highly recommend them and will most definitely contact them again for my next event.Great job all around. I could not be more pleased.“
“First time coming here as I usually go to the one in Astoria. Staff was super friendly and the cookies obviously did not disappoint. My favorite of all time is either the blueberry yogurt or the peanut butter and jelly. Wifey loves the chocolate chip. Will definitely be back knowing that it’s closer to the house now.“
“Very small, quaint bagel shop.Got a toasted poppy bagel with tuna that was absolutely delicious!Even got a few more bagels for later on as well. Not a local spot for me. But would definitely be returning if in the area again.Cash only, and I fully understand that. The prices are very fair, and the folks working are very friendlyWould recommend!“
