“Went to East Rock Coffee recently with my girlfriends after our Barre class. We were a pretty large group but that did not hinder the modest team at East Rock from offering us top tier service. We had some of the most delicious beverages and bites and everyone was raving about the experience. I had the Fontina Chicken (which quite literally changed my life!!!) along with the strawberry spritzer and a glass of Chardonnay. Please make sure that East Rock Coffee is on your list! You will not be disappointed.“

Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich.The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. “Wild feast was originally in LB and moved to RVC in 2019. I went there today with my husband for the first time in RVC and it was incredible!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. “Very cute, quaint, chill spot for all ages. Depends on what you’re looking for. Saw a few mothers on “play dates” or shall I say “Mommy & Me dates,” all very accommodating. If you’re going for a drink or coffee, it’s a great spot. Have several outlets in some of the seating areas, which allows ease for working remotely as well. I just put my headphones to be able to concentrate more. Not a rowdy place at all, as I mentioned super chill. Staff doesn’t bother you and you can stay as long as you want. Had the matcha latte, and it was unsweetened, which I appreciated as it’s more natural and I can sweeten to my own liking. Love the ambiance and decor, would go back! “3.5 for food 4 for service Big space, ample seating with a photobooth in the back. The interior is a bit hodge podge. You'll see modern lighting mixed with paintings and antiques and old records. Like the design, you'll also find a mix of things to choose from like gelato to cookies, pastries, donuts, macarons and breakfast sandwiches? We got the original bingsoo which was had a hefty portion of mochi and red bean. Taste was okay, I think there was way too much mochi. Could've used more soybean powder or sub with nuts. I also got a raspberry jelly filled donut which had a nice fluffy dough but the jelly inside was too sweet. I've also sampled their black sesame and passion fruit gelato which were both decent but not the best gelato imo. Place is clean and service was good so i gave 4 stars instead of 3!“
“Bean House is easily one of the best cafes in this area. I hope they expand because whenever I am here, it’s always packed! The coffee is delicious, I think I’ve tried 6 different variations now and they’re all amazing. The ambiance is cozy and I love their baked goods in the front. “Great bakery with amazing sandwiches and pastries. Now they opened a meat restaurant next door!! I took my daughter to eat at Noir last night. Was really good! The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. The dining room filled up while we were there, on a random Tuesday!! And everyone seemed to be enjoying. Can’t wait to go back.“

The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dessert dates. Soup of The Day *Ask for a sample* Beef Barley Soup + Oyster Crackers: I loosened the tight lid slowly to avoid spilling the soup. The beef barley soup was hearty. Health Shots Hot Shot: The hot shot (2oz) was spicy because of the cayenne and the black pepper. It gave me a good kick. Crêpe or Croffle Ham & Cheese Croffle: The ham & cheese croffle was flaky and yummy. Bakehouse I bought these nut-free baked goods below. Apple Turnover: The apple turnover was flaky and yummy. The apple filling was sweet. Fudge Brownie: The fudge brownie was chocolaty and yummy. Gelato "Last Drop" Gelato Special (Pumpkin Spice) + mini sugar cone: The gelato tasted like a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. This was my favorite. “I found Java Day Cafe while out in Queens this past Monday. I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and was looking for a cafe to WFH. At the owners recommendation, I ordered The Frenchie, as well as two hash browns (hey don't judge, I was starvin marvin!). The Frenchie consisted of 2 pieces of delicious cinnamon french toast with sausage, egg and cheese nestled inside. I washed it down with a delicious large coffee with almond milk. I chose a table by the window, which had 2 outlets below, so I was able plug away on my laptop and enjoy my food, with no low battery stress. I ended up having three coffees during my stint there and lucky for me, their bathroom was super spacious and clean... love that! All in all, happy to have stumbled upon this awesome Flushing/Auburndale gem!“

Today they were open and I ordered 2 chocolate croissants before I found out they only take Venmo or cash. They were kind enough to take my $7 and and a IOU. The chocolate croissant was good although the only other time I had one was in Paris, the one in Paris was better. But I will be back to pay what I owe and try what the reviewers recommend!“

The owners went up and beyond to make sure that my vision came through. They were organized in communication and planning. Considering the cheesecake's higher value compared to the brownie, it was a bit disappointing.Despite this minor disorder, I must say the food quality itself was top-notch. They are each good, but even better when mixed/combined together. I wish they would have that option on the menu.Taikyaki was burnt on the ends. I wouldn't recommend getting ice cream taiyakis if you are ordering something else, as the heat from the freshly made taiyakis would melt the ice cream before your order is ready. The honey nut taiyaki was good.Walnut pastries was something I looked forward to -- the red bean filling wasn't very sweet and they are made fresh. They are a bit pricey as they are small and $1 a pop...I recommend the black sesame shaved ice. It was good. If you are having it as dessert after a decent meal, it's big enough for you to actually share it with 2-3 people.The green tea shaved ice can be a meal in itself with the copious amount of nuts and seeds serving as protein in it.“

They always attend to our needs and we can be needy at times with a fussy two year old. The food is always delicious and fresh. Atmosphere is perfection for mall dining. Honestly our favorite place to eat at RF Mall. Today they surprised my husband and I with a generous goody bag that was leftover from Valentine's Day. Tried the box lunch set of garlic shrimp, bacon Alfredo with spaghetti noodles. Comes with a cold jasmine tea. Light and refreshing. And a side salad of grape tomatoes and Romain lettuce. Noodles were good, but could have used a bit more sauce or cheese. Nice chunks of bacon flavored the dish well. Wonton soup. They have really good drinks as well (non-alcoholic). Their pricey, but it's so worth it. Loved my experience! I highly recommend it. It gets packed pretty quick when it's a nice day. They dont have waiters or waitresses, so you have to put in your order. They give you a beeper that vibrates once your order is ready. Try it! Not going to lie from the outside it doesn't look that nice but different once inside. There are booths and it's really just a cozy place to have coffee, breakfast or lunch. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and the portion was very generous and it was delicious. I ordered silver dollar pancakes for my 3 year old (soooo many) ... and my mom had an omelette. Love how they make the hash browns. I also liked how they offer oatmilk for the coffee. Can't wait to come back! IHOP who????“
