“We had Mohit (Maya Grill Owner) cater for our son’s graduation party. Throughout the process Mohit was very professional and gave us good suggestions for the menu considering the demographics of the guests. He also accommodated special Jain food request for small number of guests. His staff arrived way before the party time to start preparing food onsite. They continuously served hot appetizers for the entire time. All guests praised the food and the service. As a host, we were so busy that we didn’t get to try many of the appetizers. He was so nice that he invited us to his restaurant and made all those things again for us. We highly recommend Mohit (Maya Grill).“

“THE Royalton Mansion-- If I could rate them 10 stars I would! The best kept secret on Long Island. The most beautiful venue with such a care for detail with the best bang for your buck with pricing. From the day we had our first meeting with the Royalton they have been fantastic and after my Husband and I walked in the first time we knew it was where we were supposed to be married. Mike T and his entire staff were perfect. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Mike T told me we didn’t need a wedding planner or coordinator with them and he was right. He took his role above and beyond! Every question and pre-wedding concern I had was answered quickly and ever worry I had they calmed my fear. The food was amazing and every aspect of the menu completely customizable. We had so many dietary restrictions and Mike was able to accommodate everyone without any issues. The grounds are beautiful both inside and outside. We planned for our ceremony to be in their beautiful garden but unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the move to inside was still as beautiful. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful it was, how amazing the food was and how the staff were phenomenal. Michelle, the bridal attendant was also phenomenal and helped the day run so smoothly! We had an unfortunate incident thar required a guest to be removed from the wedding. The professionalism and approach that Mike T took to handle the situation was perfect to the point that I had no idea of the circumstance and to those involved were blown away on how well it was handled by himself and staff and to ensure all our guests were safe as well. I can not recommend The Royalton enough.“

“The Riviera and their staff provided us with the most amazing wedding. The staff was so accommodating and made sure that my wife and I always had exactly what we needed at all times. They even went the extra mile to make sure our 2 year old ring bearer had his own kids meal and separate cup of ice cream. The site is stunning and all of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to. The biggest compliment was the food. The kitchen on site is first class and provided the most delicious food - from the cocktail hour to the Viennese hour. Not to mention the amazing bartenders.

“Food is delicious! Would recommend the sautéed chicken, sea scallop risotto, linguine bolognese, marinated skirt steak, homemade mac and cheese or the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Unique dessert option that the kids loved was campsite s'mores where they can roast marshmallows at the table with a personal little fire. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall atmosphere was nice with larger parties able to be accommodated in a larger, brighter room while main dining room was more cozy with smaller booths/tables and darker ambiance. Parking is tight, but there is a larger municipal lot across the street. Can't wait to go back!“

From the moment I called them to ask them to curate an "Amalfi coast" menu for my daughter's bridal shower, to the moment they finished serving that day, they were amazing. The food was excellent, creative, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff was professional, friendly, dedicated to making the day successful, and just an all around pleasure. I had many many compliments from guests on the deliciousness of the food. Even when there was a snafu in the kitchen (having nothing to do with the staff), the chefs and other staff pivoted like pros and every single thing came off as it needed to. “We used Carolyn's Kitchen for our baby shower last weekend and the food was very tasty. Carolyn had good communication leading up to the event and worked with us to make a custom menu. On the day of the event she arrived a little late for set up, but the guests didn't notice. Her and her son were kind and served our guests buffet style. We would definitely use her catering services again. We ordered rasta pasta, wings (jerk and lemon pepper), Mac and cheese egg rolls, plantain cups (vegan), and garden salad. Carolyn and her son packed up the food and then laid out the dessert cups: peach cobbler and banana pudding. My husband is still talking about the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious!“

“After reading a few low reviews, I felt the need to post that I have been here many times, and never had any issues with either the service or the food quality. This place is like a mini Zabar's with an Italian focus, not a restaurant. While the grocery selection is limited, I have enjoyed many items from the prepared food section, from turkey, to lasagna, to cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and had a nice flavor. There are also pre-made salads, but I prefer the prepared food choices. I plan to continue to shop here.“

We heard the culinary studio mentioned multiple times so we went with them. We are so glad we did. The food was incredible. The staff was perfect and not overbearing at all. “This store has been our favorite family store for years, ever since my firstborn was a toddler (and now he’s over 10!). This place is like a mini amusement park for kids. There are buttons to press, characters to wave to, music, animatronics: it keeps them entertained while I try to get some shopping done.

We especially love their seasonal events. Around Halloween, they always have cute themed setups and candy stops for the kids, which makes every visit feel like a little adventure. And let’s not forget the ice cream: honestly, that’s our main reason for coming sometimes! The vanilla is a classic, and the rewards program lets you collect points for free coffee or a sweet treat, which is a total mom-win after a long day.

While I don’t do my main grocery haul here (they don’t carry everything), it’s an easy, enjoyable shopping trip, low-stress and family-friendly. Their sushi is surprisingly decent and made fresh on-site. They also have a hot food bar, some items are hit or miss for my taste, but the soups are consistently good.

We’ve also enjoyed the lobster rolls and the fun weekend BBQ setup outside in the summer - burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill, which adds to the experience.

The staff is always friendly, and the whole store just has a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re a parent on Long Island, this is definitely a spot to check out (especially if your kids are cranky and you need coffee and entertainment in one place!).“

“We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.
