“If I could rate food 10 stars I would. The soups, service, and especially the grilled salmon with vegetables were all 🤩. The atmosphere was average, this isn't a super fancy restaurant so it was expected. The menu was massive with pasta, pizza, veal, steak, seafood, heroes, salads, soups, an assortment of appetizers, an impressive kids menu, and all the other stuff a fancy Italian place would have. I also thought the price was decent for your average meal but the food was so good they could have changed more and still got me to come back.

Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian dishes but half the menu was neat based.

Kid-friendliness: Faint kids menu, pizza pasta and they can get you vegetables on the side.

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything was wheelchair accessible.“

“The Meatball and Sausage and Peppers heroes are delicious, stop by 2-3x a week. Their pizza is also the best in town in my opinion. Some other places are pretty debatable for the best spot, but it is all preference, can’t go wrong with some of the pizza places in New Paltz.Overall, pretty good.“

“My wife and I moved from New Paltz to High Falls recently, and this is the best pizza in the area. Where other pizzas lack toppings and are either over or undercooked consistently, Benny’s is always cooked perfectly with delicious dough, crust and plenty of toppings. Their dough is actually the best I’ve ever had anywhere! There’s no reason to go anywhere but here to get delicious pizza and wings (that’s all we’ve tried so far) - and I’m sure their other food is just as great. We usually cook at home and refrain from ordering out much, but we treat ourselves to a pizza from here more often than we should!

Aside from their food being high quality and delicious, this is the kind of business that you want to see where you live. My wife and I work on weekends, and after work yesterday I needed something from the grocery store, Turns out EVERYTHING is closed by 6 on Sunday. As a small business owner myself, I completely understand that people need time in their lives, but with food and groceries we need some options! I desperately went into Benny’s in search of an ingredient as my last hope, and by a miracle I left with exactly what I needed at better quality than I would have found at the grocery store. I assume it was Benny himself who generously helped me out, but either way, this is what small businesses should be. Wonderful at what they do and also holding the local community together in all kinds of unexpected ways! So happy to have them as my local pizzeria, and so happy to support people who care about their community.“

“I have to go back another couple of three times at least until I can get to taste it all. Mid-week and it was packed. A bit too loud for conversation but I don't talk with my mouth full of fabulous fresh made gluten free pizza, thick chewy crunchy crust ( not the frozen one every other place uses) whipped ricotta cheese and fresh basil. The house well is stocked with good choices. One note is that because of the crowds frozen cocktails are pre-made so you can't pick your rum.

“Wonderful tender tasty pizza crust with perfect amount of cheese and sauce on the pizza. Guys behind the counter are really nice. Small spot to sit in can get clogged with kids from school across the street, but relatively manageable. I love their mushroom pizza because they use canned mushrooms (I know, not a popular choice but it's what I like). I bought a pie to bring home with me when I left Kingston this weekend... It's that good.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“
