“We needed a quick bite in between touring West Point and this was the perfect spot. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The chicken fried rice was cooked just right; the chicken was seasoned well and the portion was a plate full. The Mongolian beef had plenty of meat and fresh vegetables, it was served with steamed rice. The chicken and broccoli was served with a brown sauce and plenty of chicken and vegetables also served with steamed rice. The service was quick and friendly. Drinks are sodas and waters served in cans and bottles.“

“My daughter loves this place and encouraged my husband and I to go. My husband ordered the salmon bowl and we ordered the glass noodle sesame one. An honest mistake was made on my daughters and my husbands had sesame seeds that was not noted in description and he should not eat. I never send anything back and felt weird doing it but went up to a woman at the bar and who was so nice about it and made two new bowls immediately. The young man was so kind about it as well. The food is so healthy and tasty. I had the best green tea next door I have ever had and I drink green tea every day. We will be back. What a beautiful spot and great staff“

“Dined here with my family tonight for the first time and we ALL loved everything about Hudson Taco. We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. We loved everything that we ordered and look forward to returning soon. Also, I wish that I could remember our servers name because she was just that good! Evan was always there to help from the begining of the planning and right up to the end. even when our orginal date had to be cancelled and eventually rebooked for a year later. The venue. “OMG it was my first time & definitely not the last!I had the pulled pork it was awesome, a nice amount of delicious pork and barbecue sauce which was great, it came with two sides i picked the whipped sweet potatoes with candied walnuts,all i have to say is WOW and, i mean WOW!!!the other side was broccoli and cheese the broccoli was done perfect and had the right amount of cheese!we had a yummy dessert that i can't remember the name but it had crushed cookies on the bottom and like a cheese cake &whipped cream 😋 yes!i had to ask for left over containers and i was still full at dinner time!we had lunch at 11:30.So Billy Joe's keep up the great work and thank you!“

“So im only giving it a 4 star because I havent tried everything just yet but my favorite roll is here and it was only at one other place and it was because the guy who made it, made the menu here. I was thrilled they had my favorite roll here because the other place isnt open anymore:( the sushi here is delicious here. Although I think it needs a little more tightening with the sushi rolls, the sushi is fantastic. Volcano roll specifically. Absolutely delicious. Thats my favorite roll I mentioned earlier. The way they torch the spicy mayo and pour it over the sushi literally makes it melt in your mouth. There is also one waiter id love to give a shout out to and his name is Sergio. Fantastic service by him both times ive had him and is great at what he does. Ask for Sergio to serve you!! Anyways. Sushi here is fantastic and I will be coming here more :) oh! And the atmosphere is awesome! Feels like youre in Japan. Great vibe. I wish I could give it a 6th star lol“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

Lex served me today she did an incredible job as always I work all the time was very down and it felt good to know after moving back to putnam valley I still have my favorite hangouts. Carl deserves a lot of credit too I will never forget the covid shutdown how sad he was for his staff just a guy who cares. Theresa and Stephanie should run their own place one day they are that knowledgeable of the business. I hope Ashley still works there shes brilliant in life became like a sister to me thats how frequent I used to go there when I lived at home. I am writing this so corporate understands these are hard working people who go above and beyond. By the way let them choose the music as long as its not explicit so they don't have to hear the same songs all day switch it up.“

Even though covid shutdowns, years of road construction blocking their entrance, they never gave up. They still decorated the place, had specials, and it seemed the portions got bigger & better.
