“I ordered the Buffalo Bills pizza for the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “I have been going to Caraglio's Pizza in Gates for many years. It was recommended to me by a pizza 'connoisseur'. I only go on Mondays or Tuesdays, the 'All Day Special'. On those days, one can get a large cheese pizza for $12.99 plus tax. Extra toppings are $2.00. Occasionally I will get chicken wings. I have Never had a bad pizza from Caraglio's. Their chicken wings are good too. I call ahead of time and pick up my pizza. Caraglio's Pizza also has an app where one can accure points after each pizza purchase. After so many points built up, a person can get free bread sticks, free mozzarella sticks, free medium cheese pizza, free boneless chicken wings, and a free one topping pizza. I have Never had a problem with the cashier, or the person on the phone taking my order. Kudos to Caraglio's Pizza!“

“I had a review show up on my page a while ago. I followed up by following their page on FB. Today I couldn't put it off any longer "A LARGE CHEESE PIZZA FOR $12.00" are you kidding me. typically I like to add some toppings when ordering a pizza but I wanted to see what the bare bones have to say and by the way when they say large they mean it. It reminded me of the way it used to be instead of the large size other shops typically offer today which don't come close. I went to pick it up and when I entered the shop it immediately presented a very nice "Vibe". There were several pizzas ready with a variety of toppings for purchase by the slice. The room smelled amazing. The environment is welcoming and clean. I spoke with the woman at the counter who may have been the owner and I meant to ask but was engaged with other questions since it was my first visit. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful I truly did not miss having other toppings added, although I am anxious to try them with my next order. As a result, I ate more than I should have and had to force myself to stop. Still we all know how nice it is to have some leftover for later. If you have not tried them yet, don't hesitate. I also notice so many other great items on their menu. Oh well so much for my weight goals.“

“Never any complaints about this place till yesterday. Ordered a combo Large pizza with pepperoni and 24 wings well done with mild sauce plus an additional 12 wings plain. Got the pizza right but got 24 wings country sweet and 12 wings hot. Called right away and talked to manager. He realized the mistake and said they would send out the right wings since no one wanted the wrong ones. 35-40 minutes later they brought the wings. Still wrong. 24 wings in one box and 24 in the other both boxes with sauce. So the order of plain never happened which meant the family members who wanted plain went without. Plus they weren’t well done, kind of rubbery. I didn’t bother to call again. Really disappointed. I have all these wings now that won’t get eaten. I’ll give them another chance though. Normally they’re really good about orders. We’ll see what happens.“

I give Pontillos pizzeria a five star rating because…

Not only do I work there and actually see how the food is made and how chill the atmosphere is there.
My children and I have been ordering a sheet pizza and 50 wings every single Friday for the longest time.
Until we ate at Pontillos, we were ordering from all different places because we couldn’t really find the right place.
This Pontillos actually has some of the best pizza and wings that we’ve had.
And when I say different places, I’m talking all over Rochester, Greece, Gates, Spencerport, etc.
Out of all of that Pontillos is one of the best !!

The people that work there are really nice.
The owner is a really good person and very understanding.

Parking: The parking lot is a decent size definitely enough room for at least 20 cars or so.

Kid-friendliness: Both of my daughters and their friends love the food. There are two TVs so if the kids wanted to watch TV they could.“
