helping wasn't as on point. she seemed annoyed for a moment when we asked for an additional drink. Food was yummy as expected. All around a good dinner experience for my daughters birthday. biggest problem is she is addicted to the Japanese soda now!!!!!“

“Sakura is a hidden gem and hands down my favorite sushi spot in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area. It’s a small, family owned restaurant, and Maggie and her husband go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. They’re always so kind and attentive, which adds a personal touch you don’t often find.

The food here is incredible. Every dish is packed with flavor and always fresh. My absolute favorite is the shumai soup it’s my go to comfort food. Their torched rolls are consistently amazing, and when I’m looking for something on the lighter side, the diet roll is a great low-carb option.

Also worth mentioning: the fried rice is generous and perfect for sharing, and the crab salad is a must-try so refreshing and flavorful.
I come here for the quality of the food. If you’re in the area and love sushi, Sakura is a must-try.“

“I love trying out different sushi restaurants. This place was really good. Just a bit pricy. I would return to try some of their other rolls. The only downside is the crunch used in their spicy scallops roll was stale. Presentation and taste of their sushi were good. Looking forward to trying some of their other rolls.“

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“We have had a couple of our regular haunts for sushi, and had a menu from the mail from Mizu, so we ordered to-go. The selection was better than many of the surrounding sushi joints in nearby towns, and it the rolls were better overall. Prices were a bit less, but it also helps that they give a 10% discount for online ordering. And, online they also gave a free appetizer if you were over $50. The garlic roll was interesting, and unique, and the menu has a decent number of non-tempura (fried) cooked rolls which is a nice change also. Inside the restaurant there was only a couple of tables, so they probably do most business to-go.“

I always get the chicken and filet mignon with rice rice and the scorpion bowl. It is always amazing. The pricing is fair considering and the did you get and the high quality of the food. “Best Chinese Food! I’ve been coming back and have tried many other places from Port Jeff-Patchogue. This one is by far my favorite. They are family run & They listen to your requests. They don’t skimp you on sauce or food. Their boneless spareribs are AMAZING. Chicken and Broccoli, has EDIBLE chicken that won’t gross you out. Their sesame chicken delicious and it’s not orange:). Soup broth is yummy and flavorful ! And their egg rolls aren’t filled with random , uncooked veggies. Everything is cooked thoroughly and great! Also they offer 5% off for cash payments which always feels good. I moved out of Selden but I still come back to grab some of this food! #YUM“

“Ordered delivery. Fast service despite the estimated delivery time. Presentation of rolls were less than stellar but the quality and taste was great..mango was a little unripe. All in all a bit more pricey than other local sushi places but the food is good“
