“Subol in Howard Beach is a great spot with delicious food and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices felt a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes. Still, the overall experience from the service to the presentation was very enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something flavorful and different!“

The açaí comes from a machine (like soft serve), which I feel gives a better consistency than some places that might blend it too thick or thin. Look, açaí bowls are expensive practically everywhere. Why not go somewhere like Oak Berry where you get UNLIMITED options?? So many great things to choose from here!

Found the environment friendly and warm, Danna the lady who greeted me, I found to be knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions, helped me decide and create the perfect customized smoothie. I was able to sample the berry smoothie which was great ( even though I'm not a fan of bananas as they usually overwhelm everything else, however they balance the ingredients / flavors well and liked the berry blend.
I was able to substitute ingredients to blend the perfect flavor I was looking for. Acai your way, and the Berry smoothies are great. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a healthy option or enjoy a good smoothie! If you're not sure what you want ask Danna, she is great with customers!“

“Came in on a Friday at noon - the interior was welcoming and clean. I ordered the La Callejera and it was delicious! Service was quick and very nice. Portion was big for me - ended up eating half and will be eating other half for dinner. Would definitely come in again. Order total was about 21 for the torta and a Mexican coke.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

To name a few of my favorite menu items : The Red Velvet Smoothie (add protein powder and almond milk), The Peanut Butter Toast (omg) — The Merced Sandwich(add shrimp!!) Game changer trust me! The Guacamole was(no longer on the menu) incredibly fresh too, I also like The Horchata Latte. Basically, everything is delicious! And prices are reasonable, too! Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

After two decades of being a loyal patron, I can confidently say that Juice Generation continues to set the gold standard for quality and service. While my last juice of the day wasn’t my favorite (a rare miss in 20 years!), I felt a little hesitant about saying something—but the manager, Adolfo, handled it with such professionalism and kindness that I was reminded why I absolutely love this place. The customer service here is consistently top-tier.

My yogi best friend still fondly remembers the field trip I took her on to Juice Generation—she raves about it to this day.
