“The lady behind the counter was super nice and excitedly explained Electric Beets's food philosophy to me. I got two containers of peanut stew, one basil biscuit, one apple cinnamon scone, and one chocolate chip cookie. All the food was delicious and left me feeling good afterwards!“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

I custom made what I wanted and had the pitaya (dragonfruit) base with mango, blueberries, granola, banana, coconut flakes and honey and omgggg did it deliver!!!! Sooo delicious! Not to mention the service frok the girls there was super sweet and friendly. There’s a cute bunch of chairs to sit at outside which is where I loved to after being inside because it’s air conditioned inside and I wanted to get some sun. Highly recommended!“

Good food, calm atmosphere, and exactly the kind of place you want inside a store like Saks: clean, polished, and easy.

It feels healthy without tasting like punishment, which is apparently rare now. Great stop if you’re shopping, working nearby, or just need a decent place to sit and eat without dealing with Midtown chaos.

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Service was incredible i walked in while the store had a good amount of people, i saw 2 employees and thought id never get my order. As i order this kind young man helps me decide what bowl i want (he was very generous btw), you can fully optimize yours for your liking. After i finished paying, it was mostly just me there waiting for my food so the young boy says theyll have it out in a couple minutes so a check my phone and then boom order in my face (mind you they were making a lot of orders). I forsure thought it was premade and left out or something but when i tried it it was soooo good the nutella was still gooey and warm while the base was still frozen and refreshing and all the fruits were so fresh! I wish i took a picture cus the presentation was everything but i couldnt help but eat it :( . Nonetheless, Service was amazing, the young boy was really sweet and had a nice white smile, the tall young boy made my bowl with love, and overall my experience was one of the best in all of my fast food experiences. “I've ordered from many places that make acai or green bowls But this Playa bowl in particular, is by far the best one in brooklyn. They always seem to get it right! I dont live close to this one so most of the time I have to Uber it & when I call, if i have a question they always answer the phone, & they make sure my order is just how I wanted it. Because sometimes the app doesnt show all deals. This place has been titled as a fav for sure!“

For dinner, they’re offering wine, oysters, branzino, lamb chops, Peruvian chicken, and so much more. And as an added plus, they have a backyard patio that feels like an oasis.“

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

“I came here on a Saturday morning and it wasn't super busy. I was able to get a quick latte. I tried this nut honey latte and it was delicious. I love that they have non-dairy milk options. My friend got a soup and liked it. This is a good spot for grabbing coffee!“

“Ordered the Mezze Crunch salad and it was really delicious. Everything tasted really fresh and the ingredients had a great mix of textures and flavors. The salad was crisp, well balanced, and had a nice combination of crunchy and savory elements that made it really satisfying.

It felt like a lighter meal but was still filling, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Overall a really tasty and refreshing option if you’re looking for a healthy but flavorful salad. Would definitely order it again.“
