Our food was cooked with care as my wife’s steak was the perfect temp, the veggies were all fresh, and my chicken sandwich was crispy and moist. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a resort town.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews for what was a surprisingly wonderful dining experience. Y’all should review how digestion works and drink less before making FP allegations.”

“I recently stayed at the Perch Hotel during a trip to Windham. The views from the main floor and right outside my room were beautiful, especially after the fresh snowfall the night before. The staff (Katie) greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. My room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. Overall, it was a relaxing, comfortable stay, and I look forward to staying here again!”

“We went to hike Kaaterskill and stopped here twice. Not only was the service fast and the food yummy, but they were so hospitable. The first night they helped us get oriented to the village and gave us a run down of what was open/closed/available. The second day, after a couple issues (had some hiking gear stolen), they fed us on the house. It made our day a little bit better and that’s what life is all about. Highly recommend to anyone passing through. These are some good people all around.”

Grace, the cheesemonger was so knowledgeable and all the cheeses were delicious. The cart was so cool looking and added a great moment to our meal. “My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us. We would highly recommend Prominence!”

“One of the best places to eat I have EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. Staff is so friendly and they make you feel right at home. There Brio Cheese steak is out of this world and the California Ruban will have you Drooling for seconds and Don't get me started on the GARLIC CURLY FRIES 🍟 THEY ARE MOUTH WATERING need to stop in have breakfast lunch or dinner Open 8 am to 9pm THANK YOU”

“This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.”

The crust is exactly right: not flat and also not deep, and with just the right texture - a tiny bit crisp and also dough-licious, the sauce is distributed the way I love it. The onion, mushroom and green pepper are fresh and not overly-portioned which would make it soggy, but just the perfect amount. I just enjoyed four slices and had to say thank you!”

“Cutest little shop on our trip to the Catskills! They have a little bit of everything, we were able to get fire starter, cold drinks, and baseball caps to commemorate our trip. They also have a cute little icecream window and it was superb! I had mint chocolate chip and brownie batter and my partner had vanilla and they were stellar ✨”
