“I like to eat the beef and scallions dish they make. Their egg rolls are delicious and never greasy. They prepare sushi to order and you can watch it being rolled. You can order online and pick it up or dine in. Plenty of parking is available. I've been going here for about 5 years.

“Mengqi is an EXCELLENT server! From the very beginning, she had an extremely positive and great attitude. Before we even begin to eat, she noticed that I was wearing glasses and she handed me a lens wet wipe. I thought this was extremely sweet from her part! The way that she noticed this type of detail was just adorable.

My friend and I had questions about a couple of the menu items, and she was just so patient! There were two kinds of fish that my friend and I were deciding between to order, and Mengqi went to her phone to do a Google translation just so that we could get an accurate and descriptive description of what was the difference in taste between the two types of fish.

Throughout our dinner, she would come back to our table to see if we needed anything, to add more soup, and just to show that she was available for any requests that we might have.

There are not many servers who can continuously have a smile on their face while working - but Mengqi LITERALLY had a smile every time! And literally every time I asked for something to be brought to the table, she would immediately smile right after. But I must say, her smile was very genuine, and it did not look forced whatsoever. She is *so* sweet.

You can tell that she has a really great attitude and that just makes her customer service so memorable, to the point that I want to come back to this restaurant. Please, if the ownership of this restaurant sees this — give her a prize! Thank you, Mengqi !!!“

“I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.

We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

“I’ve been to Chongqing Laozao many times, and it never disappoints. The broth is always rich, flavorful, and full of that authentic Chongqing heat I love. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere — perfect every time I come for hotpot.

I also want to give a special compliment to our server Doudou. She’s always warm, attentive, and very professional. She explains the menu clearly, brings out dishes promptly, and checks on our table just at the right times. Whether it’s refilling the broth or helping with anything we need, she handles everything with a smile.

“Juqi was a nice dining experience. Most of the dishes when served were presented in a way to elevate one's dining experience. I was there for a birthday dinner and we were seated in a room. The table felt small at first but the waitstaff knew what to do that it never felt too crowded. Besides the food being good the waitstaff were consistent with changing plates and bringing the next course. Some of the dishes that stood out was the beef and tomato soup, the duck, the black rice that is set on fire (the aroma was pleasing where you're not sure what ingredients were put in) The soups were presented in a small ceramic bowl and tea lights were put underneath to keep it warm. This was a set menu and because there was a lot of food it was hard to keep track. Overall a good dinner out and a nice place for all group sizes to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice evening out.“

“I've been to Veggie Castle plenty of times and it's honestly amazing soul/caribbean-style vegan food. If you sometimes crave familiar flavors from previous non-vegan days, you should give it a try. The vegan fish, bbq chick'n legs, kale, mac & cheese, ginger chik'n, and BBQ jackfruit sandwiches are some of my favorites that I've tried.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“I love Annam Brahma. I’m blessed to live nearby. The food is delicious, and the desserts are to die for.

Vegetarian options: Masala dosa is my favorite. It’s like a potato pancake and gluten free. Then there is the chapati roll up with lots of cooked vegetables inside and a salad. The taste is indescribable, and some of the dishes, if requested, have a touch of Indian spices.

Dietary restrictions: I am happy that they have many gluten free options. Annam Brahma has only vegetarian food. The desserts are homemade.“

“Rippers is located in a concession area in rockaway beach so it is a fun, Open atmosphere consist of picnic tables outside under a covered area. I find that the food is very good. Burgers chicken fries. I can just have fries .. I think that they are excellent. They used to sale a whole fish that was divine. There are drinks , wine beer. They often play music and have live entertainment.. they typically close in late summer for winter.“

I tried two plates because I was there with a friend. The pongal was warm, comforting and properly seasoned. The curd vada had a light, balanced taste and felt refreshing. The mixture on the side added a nice crunch. The dosa was crisp, not oily, and the coconut chutney tasted clean. The sambar was mild but paired well with everything.

The canteen is not about presentation. It's about honest food that feels familiar and satisfying. Portions are fair and pricing is very reasonable for New York. If you're already visiting the temple, stopping here makes total sense. It’s quick, reliable and a good break before heading back out.“
