“Normally good service However every day is different. One day they allow oat milk in the frozen coffee but today gave my husband the run around saying they couldn’t because of nut allergies. Last I checked oats weren’t nuts. He had no issue yesterday getting this but today the manager insisted they couldn’t. I get this at other locations all the time without issue. Instead they put cream in it. What about those who are lactose intolerant? Makes no sense. I suggest more thorough training so all staff is on the same page. The app has oat milk as a choice for frozen coffee but not almond milk which makes sense because almonds are nuts. Please train your staff at the Hudson location so there’s more consistency.“

“Started coming here a couple of months ago because I started running earlier in the morning to escape the heat. It's such a cozy place to take a nice break, grab an iced coffee, pineapple coconut energy drink, or some ice tea. The staff are super friendly and the drinks are really tasty. They also open an hour earlier than the other coffee shops in the village, which is a huge plus. HIGHLY recommend.“

“Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.

This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.

The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.

There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.“

“Fast service and delicious food and drinks. I have stopped by for coffee a couple of times, which they have wonderful flavor combinations, but I finally got their breakfast food. The breakfast burrito was filling and came with perfectly crisp tortilla chips and a side of salsa. A very cozy cafe to sit in and enjoy your time“

“My passion for coffee shops is still alive and kicking and Canaltown Coffee Roasters didn’t dampen that passion. It’s nice to visit a real coffee roaster’s.

Val was fantastic. For my partner Val recommended a Cuban Double Espresso and that Plant Milk was the best alternative for the Apple Dirty Chai. He thoroughly enjoyed his drinks.

I ordered the Caramel Spice Latte and it was delicious.

The service was good. There is plenty of seating indoors and a few tables outside. Loved the cute fresh flower arrangements on the tables.

“My friend and I went here for brunch and the food was fantastic. My photo of the duck croque madame doesn’t show you how much duck bacon they stuffed inside; the fattiness of the bacon is cut by the mornay sauce. My friend got the flavored coffee with their version of the garbage plate and he got free refills on the coffee.

I would suggest coming near opening time because when we left around 11 AM, there was a decent gathering in the waiting room.“

“We ordered breakfast through Grubhub and were blown away by the quality and flavor of everything we tried. We got the Vegan Chesswell Breakfast Panini and substituted provolone for the vegan cheese. The sundried tomato spread added a bright note without overpowering the other ingredients, and the whole sandwich was delicious. My friend, who split it with me, said it was the best sandwich he’d ever had—and one was definitely enough for two people.

We also ordered the Vegan Superior Gone Green, which my wife loved, and the Aztec Mocha Latte, which was absolutely perfect. They balance their flavors so well. We’ll happily order from them again.“

Cons:
- speakers are too loud
- drinks are made breve, and maybe I missed it on the menu, but that isn't a typical thing and not my preference

Overall, 7brew is great. I've only ever gotten one subpar drink, and it was clearly a new barista, so we give grace.

The prices are higher than main competitors, but the drinks are bigger and the options are broader. So again, willing to pay for quality and quantity.

Definitely worth trying if you are looking for options outside of Dunky or SBUX.“

“Believe the hype! We went to the Penfield location specifically to try the Cuban menu. The restaurant was sparkling clean and the service was excellent. Four of us ordered different Cuban dishes, while my two youngest ordered off the kids menu. The portions were huge - even the fresh fruit side dishes for the kids! Everything was delicious. The whole time, our table was just a chorus of "Mmm!" while reaching over and trying food off of each other's plates. We will definitely be back!“
