Food was incredibly affordable for feeding my whole family of 6. My favorite was their wonton soup, sesame chicken, and pork fried rice. The ribs were also delicious! “It's not dine in. I ordered on UE first but then started picking up to avoid all of the tacked on costs. Best egg rolls ever! They don't seem to reuse the oil so much that they taste off and they somehow have always made them so they're never dripping with oil. Obviously I haven't had a good egg roll in a while.

They also actually listen to preferences. I always ask for crunchy broccoli and am so disappointed when I get overcooked or soggy broccoli that will never reheat well. They have done this consistently. My go to Chinese spot now!“

I live close by and I’m on kid duty on Saturdays so I always order from here.

I always get the same woman and she cracks me up. Knows my address from the system and my order usually but then will just randomly throw me a Wan ton soup for no reason. I keep the quart for my dad because he loves it but you just don’t get stuff like that anymore. That’s how you treat people in the community.

Portions are solid too. I feel like you get a good amount for your money. Also rare nowadays. Delivery can sometimes take awhile but I like my Chinese places busy and fresh. I’m a sesame chicken guy and sometimes I need a little extra sauce but that’s the extent of any “issues”.

I stopped by No. 1 Halal Kitchen today and grabbed some food. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all! The place was good, the food was tasty, and the service was decent.

The food is tasty. There's quite a variety on the menu, though I personally have my preferred choices. Just be careful, they have lunch and dinner pricing that switches in both price and order size after about 4PM, though I believe you can order dinner size before then if you ask.

The restaurant has a small dining area that might fit about a dozen people max. The interior is older and has some obvious wear and tear, and the menu board has pictures of the food, though most of them have faded with time. The printed take-out menu has a lot more than what's on the board.

They don't really do substitutions, though they do allow you to choose what style of rice you want.

Street parking is the only option here. It's metered, but going in to pick up a take-out order is generally quick.

For take-out orders they include sauces, napkins, utensils and a bag to carry it. They also offer free delivery if you're so inclined.
