“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

We love that they give you a free cup of coffee to sample the new flavors and they are always quick and efficient. The employees are very friendly too. Two who especially stand out are Candece and Leo. Candece is so sweet, very personable, and helpful with her coffee facts and tips.
