“I went with my wife for our anniversary celebration of our engagement. I called ahead to make a reservation. We were seated with a wait time of only about a minute or so. We had a very polite, knowledgeable and friendly waiter by the name of Jacob. He was great! We started with some toasted bread and garlic and red pepper flakes in oil(FREE!). Jacob gave us good recommendations as it was the first time we were dining there. The Beef dumplings and Duck spring rolls were crispy and not oily. The sauces were also good. I had the Prime Steak and my wife the BBQ Brisket Steak sandwich and we shared them. The Prime steak had a great balance of flavor and meat and the BBQ was a really nice sandwich. For me even though the bread was crispy, I would have topped the BBQ with something fried for texture appeal like a spicy fried onion rings. The drinks were good as well. They have a nice washing station in the back where you can wash before eating bread. Prices were what I expected as the big cushy booths and cloth napkins as well as the atmosphere are not found in most places. If not for the fact that we were at a table between two tables and some people decided to squeeze in to say hello to the people to my left and suddenly I have two rear ends in my face I would have given a better review for atmosphere.That and the men's room floor was not so clean as I expected.“

“I meet friends in this great spot quite a bit! This is my favorite place to eat. I go to this spot frequently. The food is very tasty, the workers are courteous and the rates are affordable. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a tasty lunch.“

“My second time trying this place, food portions are big, we ordered; one appetizer and one entry, it was enough for two. About $80 to $100 per person. Steak tastes fresh though ordered temperature both times was not accurate. I prefere medium well but we got a medium rare, however I am not picky, it still was delicious, maybe a tad more seasoning would hit the spot.

FOOD: A solid 4 stars, Tastes fresh, shrimps where cooked PERFECTLY, I am not a big fan of tostones (flied plantain flats,) HOWEVER their tostones, I could eat all day. They are THE BEST tostones i have ever tried. They Guacamole is really good, and goes perfect with the tostones.
ATMOSPHERE: Relaxed, welcoming, some light music might go very well.“

“I’m just shy of 50 and this is my first time in LI while residing in NY my entire life. My gf and I came down from Saratoga last minute after our trip to Lauderdale was canceled. We thank Jimmy Hays, his awesome staff and friendly local regulars for their hospitality and overall friendliness. We sat at the bar, felt like I was home at my local favorite establishment. “Me and my fiancé loved NYY Steakhouse! The food was outstanding and our server Emmanuel was so attentive. We attend Yankee games often but never dined here and I have to say great first impression! The Ribeye was so juicy and delicious with the blue cheese crust, Lobster Mac n Cheese was also very good and the Crab Cake astounding. I even got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Alamoude and our waiter singed Happy birthday to me! I can say a million good things about this restaurant! Can’t wait to visit again and hope to get Emmaunel as our server.“

“Vibes were great! Beautiful interior and ambiance. Music was lit 🔥 Customer service was great, and we appreciated the overall experience. The only thing that caught us off guard was the gratuity fee. We didn’t notice it on the bill at the time, and after our card was charged we realized the total was higher than we had anticipated. Since we weren’t aware that gratuity had already been included, we had also added an additional 20% tip.

This is a great business, and we enjoyed the visit. It would just be helpful if there were a clear heads-up about the included gratuity so guests can review the bill accordingly. The food was also interesting and made for a unique experience.“

“I really wanted to leave a comment about my experience at Longhorn. I truly enjoyed my Flo steak with Bacon sprinkled Mac and cheese, Broccoli with cheese, sweet potatoes, and bread. Everything was well done and I had the pleasure to sit at the bar where I briefly met a skinny and gorgeous Moroccan Girl bar tender who was bartending. She was great. I certainly will be coming back“
