“This was my first time really trying authentic Indian food and I absolutely loved it. Everything here was fresh and the quality was on point. We had the mango lassi, the tandoori paneer tikka, samosas and the baingan bharta …. All delicious especially the tandoori paneer tikka ! We visited the south ozone park location which was more of a takeout kind of set up so the seating was limited but that doesn’t take away from the food though. Service was super friendly ! Cannot wait to return & try more dishes from here 🥰“

“Stopped here after taking someone to the airport and did a Google search of breakfast places nearby… Server was so nice. Menu and atmosphere very simple. Seems like a tight knit group of friendly employees I got the French toast and turkey bacon.“

“I have had a CANGREJOFONGO. It is mashed fried green plantain with crab meat. It tasted very well. No other place nearby makes this. It is prepared from scratch. It may take a while. The taste is worth the wait.I have had 3 pupusas with cheese and loroco. The tomatoe sauce has a great taste. The curtido also tastes good.I have also had a beef soup. This is so well cooked. The meat fell off the bone. They offered green hot sauce but it was not needed.I will continue coming here. They also do deliveries.“

“I really recommend this place. Recently, I was craving some lomein and decided to give this restaurant a try. I looked over the menu and decided to get the pork lomein. The lomein is so flavorful and there is a good amount of pork. Next time I’ll definitely order the large.

The pickup was also fast. I called them before I went to buy groceries form Key Food (right next door) and got the food as soon as I was finished with groceries. Definitely recommend anyone to go to this place if they’re craving Chinese food and will be staying for a little bit to buy groceries if they mind a short waiting time.“

“I had gone to Queens Supreme Court and asked Google for a Mexican restaurant near me, which this was the spot that was recommended and was a bit over 1 mile away by driving (6 minutes or so). Amazingly delicious, I mean everything that we ordered tasted good, including the fries that came unsalted. Serviced by a young woman that was very nice. I thought I was gonna have to use my broken Spanish and didn't have to because the woman used her English and prevented my family from feeling awkward using our little bit of Spanish. Tiny little spot, I don't recommend more than a party of six but I can see this place making a bigger party fit. They take cards, street parking if your lucky and I didn't spot any high chairs for small children. I forgot to take a pic of my order and my wife's but I had the birria & quesillo - delicious. Wife had the chili relleno, she said it was good. Kids had buffalo wings + french fries and salchi papas, I for pics of these. We also split a nachos texano - good. Oh, wife had the tamarindo betidas; it was so good and refreshing.

Kid-friendliness: I didn't spot any high chairs but they were friendly with my kids.“

“i have been eating here since 2016 since I went to the high school near here. i always come for pickup and I've never had an issue. I cannot vouch for delivery though. The guy who works there (Steve) is always so kind and friendly. I still come here whenever i am in the area to hang out with friends since they all live near here.Since this is my go-to restaurant, I just want to clarify that they never sold any type of sushi before!!“

“Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.

We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.

The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.

Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.

“The best seafood soup I have ever eaten!!! I could not stop raving to my colleagues about this place afterwards. Lots of various seafood items (shrimp, clams, crab, fish) - there was probably 300 g of protein if not 400 g in a delicious broth. Soup came with yellow rice on a side and freshly baked corn tortilla. I have never liked corn tortilla before this one (prefer the ones made from flour). The portion was $20, but it was two lunches for me. It took about 15 minutes to arrive once I placed an order so you need to have at least one hour for this place. I will be going back to try the other menu items.“

“I really wanted to be away from too many people. I don’t like crowds too much and my frame of mind was such that I just wanted to sit and eat and just be at ease before my flight. I have had no prior experience with this restaurant nor T5 at JFK to begin with. I was greeted almost instantly when arrived and was seated within a minute. I would say within 15 or so minutes, the food arrived and it tasted delicious. I ordered buffalo wings, fries and a Pepsi. Whilst seated, I looked online for reviews and found it to be surprising since most were negative. I had a brief chat with my server and she was receptive towards my positive feedback. You can see the initial hesitancy at first because she probably figured I wanted to complain but it was the opposite. Her body language warmed up to me and she actually stroked up a secondary conversation just before I left. Basically, you will get better service when it’s not so busy. When I went, the place was 90% empty. Go brave!“

Not a fancy place but the food is like Grandma use to cook and they have many old time Jamaican dishes not ordinarily offered in most Jamaican restaurants like run down, seasoned rice, pumpkin rice, cornbeef and cabbage..only downsides are usually no fried plantain offered and they don't accept debit/cards. Now taking debit/credit cards as of about 3-4 months ago. Chef is friendly.“

“Came here for Roti & doubles. I called ahead, ordering was smooth. There’s no parking so had to double park outside. The food is okay. Not the best roti or doubles I’ve ever had but we ate them up. My food wasn’t very fresh but I suppose that because I ordered an hour before closing. The person inside was nice & had great customer service. Oh, pricing is great it was a large amount for under $20.“
