“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I came on a Saturday around 2 PM and I came specifically for the dim sum dishes. Since they were stopping Dim Sum at 3 there was only one cart going around with limited dishes. Luckily you could still order everything from the dim sum menu. Even though the food wasn’t available right away the wait was worth it as the dishes were freshly prepared. I have had dim sum in numerous places and have always found that the few dim sum places in Nassau or Suffolk County were nothing special and the taste was ok. Here the food and taste was as good as restaurants in Flushing or China Town. The tastes were very traditional and everything was prepared perfectly. The staff was bilingual (Mandarin & English) and the menu was in English with Chinese.“

“We have had dinner here many times over the last 38 years but not recently. The atmosphere and service were great. The Christmas carolers were charming. The baked clam appetizer was excellent. My husband's roast duck was delicious. The popovers were so light and yummy. My chicken pot pie was not good. The broth used ruined the dish. It had an institutional flavor. It was barely warm. The crust cover was good but also needed to be hot. The peppermint ice cream was just as I remembered. Very delicious.“

“We had a great experience last night eating dinner. We usually go for the ambiance not having high hopes for the food based on past experiences but it was surprisingly amazing! Not sure looks like a bit different menu selections and maybe new chefs because every dish was better than the next. Apps we had Mac and cheese was creamy and the shells were perfectly cooked. Also had the calamari and made perfectly not chewy and very tasty. Both big portions. Two of us had the skirt steak cooked medium rare and other guests had the grilled cheese and lemon chicken. All were satisfied. Lastly the waiter -Luis was exceptionally good.“
