“This Bar is far out the best bars around with friendly staff and awesome food. I just received my whole rack of ribs and a bag of beef jerky that Dom one of the owners smoked for me. “I’ve lived down the street for a couple years and was pleasantly surprised to have such a great bar nearby. The food is excellent and when I don’t want to eat one of their delicious burgers or the Yard Bird (so yum!), they have very tasty vegetarian options. The Vegan club is so so yummy. The owner is awesome. The staff is awesome. Seafood Dan and his karaoke DJ skills are awesome. The regulars are chill and great conversationalists. There is regularly a game of cribbage happening. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with fun stuff to look at. What can I say? I love this place.“

Happily ordered the butter parmesan and although they had a nice selection of sauces, they were kind enough to make the honey barbecue sauce even though it wasn’t a selection. The blue cheese is house made and it’s DIVINE! We dipped our fries in it and were pleasantly happy. We also ordered the caesar salad and again, blown away by the freshness and taste. You won’t be disappointed, NYC native approved.“

“Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.“

“It was a minute before our waiter came to our table. He apologized straight out which was admirable. Dylan was an amazing server and was very attentive to all our needs. We have been here many times and it has always been a great experience. We started with the Jalapeño mozzarella sticks. Then my wife and I both got chicken sandwiches. I had the Glen falls chicken sandwich which was excellent with a large portion. My wife got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. My son had the Main Street burger and my daughter had a kids grill cheese. We were very happy with the food and the excellent service provided by Dylan- he deserves employee of the month!
