“During a weekend away, we were looking for a place that would be open for dinner on Christmas night, and we were so happy we chose Running Deer Inn. The food was great, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and (my favorite part) the two sweet little Yorkies who greeted us at the door instantly made us feel at home. Christine was incredibly kind and welcoming. We were so happy to start our Christmas night here — and it turned into a moment we’ll remember forever when the night ended with a proposal.“

“Stopped in with my girlfriend last evening, we didn’t have time for a full meal but sat at the bar for appetizers and drinks. The apps were excellent as was the espressomartini’s expertly prepared by Shannon, the bartender who went out of her way(altho she was very busy with a full bar) to make sure everything was ok for us. We’ll definitely be coming back frequently!“
