“I've been following Steve's for a while now since seeing their subs online. Finally got here today and had THE BEST SUB OF MY LIFE. Hands down! The Godfather is the sub to end all subs. “This is another great example of the fabulous diners in Kingston! We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Mia our server was exactly what you want, friendly and informative of the menu. Her smile could light up a room! The food was prepared timely and it was absolutely delicious!!! It's a very busy place in the afternoon but don't let that deter you, you will be taken care of!! I look forward to my next visit to NY and my next visit to KVD!!“

“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

Fave new place and will seek it out at all costs any time I’m upstate.“

“Cucina was absolutely amazing! One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We started with crispy squid and it was delish. The rigatoni with sausage was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. My husband had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection! The service was excellent and atmosphere was lovely. Great meal to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary!“

“Good pizza and food. I give them 5 starts. The cost / value for the food they put out. I find it consistent and compared to the places we usually go to dinners like “Annarella Ristorante” also 5 stars, they are much lower cost / different category. I also appreciate the old-school feel. This restaurant isn’t trying to be something they are not and I like that about it.“

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“
