“Have been there twice now. Jimmy the bartender was awesome both times! Highly recommend. I’m not exactly sure what nights he’s out and about but we’ve been on a Sunday and Monday evening, and I’m very glad I’m moving to the ward so I can become a regular and have him as a bartender more regularly. Conversation always great, and he engages multiple groups if there’s more than one group so that everyone can get to know each other. They have magners, my favorite cider and Tully, my favorite whisky so I’m a happy camper! Thank you jimmy! And thank you kris and the nice young lady and gentleman from the kitchen that chatted with me tonight. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!“

“Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Went for a Sunday brunch and got the Huevos Rancheros and was pleasantly surprised by how good and delicious it was. I also had the Gypsy Juice as my beverage, along with some Pastelitos (beef) shared for the table. Those were just OK to me and I've had better elsewhere. My party and I sat outside for a nice day out on the patio and some people watching, and despite being the only ones out there while we were dining, we still had great service from our server.“

“After constantly being jealous of the line up at this place I made it back home to buffalo to catch one of my favorite performers ever. Ryan Montbleau in this room felt like home. Super friendly bartenders. A couple small seating areas for those who don't want to stand all night after 40 hours on their feet. “Okay, my fiancé and I go a lot to the hamburg location never ever have a issue… unfortunately today on a Monday night we both got caught up in work late in the night so we went to the location downtown to grab food togo. When arriving home (a 25 minute drive) and opened bag there was No sauce and 6 sides of pickles that wasn’t asked for instead…. Called back right away and asked for a manger (emily), Emily was not only upset and frustrated with us because we are HUGE sauce people but also wanting to fix the issue right away.. we paid cash and opted for a e-gift card, Emily Right away emailed us $50 for our next visit. “My husband and I went to the Dog Bar last Thursday. The person who returned my call for a reservation gave us a very nice table - I had wanted a quiet table for two. The waitress, Anne (I think I got the name right), was fantastic with a nice personality. She answered any questions about the menu perfectly and her timing with the courses was spot-on. The steaks were cooked as requested. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and there were so many interesting things to read and look at on the walls that if conversation isn't your thing, you could amuse yourself by looking around. All-in-all, we had a really nice time and we both enjoyed our meals. Thank you to the friendly staff and good chefs at the Dog Bar!“

“The food here is tremendous (wings are on par with Bar-Bill and they have a great fish fry), but one word of caution - do not expect to be able to order meat on Friday’s during Lent. Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.“

“Went there for the 2 for $7 chili and bacon dogs on a Thursday around 6pm. Was surprised at what a good time we had. Bartender was very nice and helpful. She made us some amazing slushie drinks. I didn't know they offered those. I saw the machine hiding in the back and asked lol. They should advertise that a bit. Hot dogs were great and well worth it. We had a blast playing the MANY pinball machines. I loved the variety of stuff they had. It's not just a pool hall! The whole vibe was great and we will def be back. 4 stars!“

“We ordered drop off catering for our 30th anniversary party. Everything was delicious and HOT. Matt was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our numbers kept growing by the day but that didn’t phase him. He went over and above, making sure we had the biggest brisket he could find and he even brought us an extra pan of veggies just in case. The bbq pork mac n cheese was a huge hit. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the superior service. I highly recommend Blue Fire BBQ! Thanks for a great experience, Matt!!“
