“Unless you've been there, the restaurant is not easy to locate. It's down a hill and literally no signage. We actually walked through a wedding reception looking for the restaurant. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. Wedding reception staff tried to direct us where to go. Once we were seated and found the restaurant, it was cozy and charming and the meal was spot on. Like other people have complained, hard to enjoy the scenery with weddings happening so dont assume you have free reigns to walk around the property. Service was very good. Overall friendly and accommodating, though seemed annoyed that we complained about difficulty finding the place- almost like they've heard it a million times before. I would eat there again.“

“We were to meet my son & family in Lake George to celebrate their anniversary Sat 6/24/23. He told us to meet them a the East Cove Restaurant at 5:30pm. They're not there, we go to the bar as we have in the past. Get a drink & ask about the reservation - there is none. We get a phone msg, they told us the told us the wrong restaurant, errrr!. They're at George's which is only 100 yds up the road. "You're killin' me Smalls." After that hiccup everything at George's was excellent. This is a prime rib, steak, & seafood restaurant. Our waitperson, Richard T was pleasant, helpful, & efficient. Two Fiddlehead IPA ($8ea) and two Banfi pinot grigios ($11ea) during our meal. My bride had broiled haddock w/ a side of cauliflower ($28+$4) which was almost double the portion generally served in restaurants. I had the pork shank osso bucco w/ mashed potatoes ($31) and their very popular salad bar. A large & tender shank w/ a very good demi-glace. Very nice offering excellently prepared & served. "Our steaks and ribs are hand cut and house seasoned Entrees Include choice of salad bar or soup du jour / clam chowder and choice of starch" - George's. Also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer ($12) and a basket of garlic bread w/ pesto (chef's compliment). Also two petit prime rib dinners ($35ea) & a very large "Kids" spaghetti & meatballs ($15) George's offers excellent food & service. Note: And not just b/c my son is friends with the chef, Nick DeJesus. A great dinner as we have come to expect from the staff at George's. Open Thu-Mon 4-9pm. plenty of parking. “My husband and I loved our experience at the Boathouse! We sat at a table with a great view of the lake. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The building it beautiful and clean. We had cart service bring us from the parking to the door. There was a large selection of craft beers to choose from. I got the lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious. Husband got the ribeye and loved it. We will be back soon!“

“Don’t be fooled by this small near poolside eatery—it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something different from the usual pool menu. Their wings and fried shrimp were delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable.

We also noticed a few visitors from outside the resort wandering the property, and this seems to be the place they choose for lunch.“

“New restaurant in the area. Delicious food. The atmosphere itself is more like a diner than an Italian bistro cafe, nonetheless the food was delicious.

Started off with glass of wine.

For appetizer we started with the eggplant napoleon. I would very much recommend. Great flavor. Very good red sauce.

They provided grilled bread with olive oil and balsamic. There was definitely a hint of truffle. Wife loved the bread.

For entree my wife had the Chicken Scarp. Delicious as well. Very rich brown sauce.
I had the Carbonara Americano. The cream sauce was very good.

For dessert we had espressos with a slice of their chocolate layer cake, yum!

“What a great place! Stopped in on a Thursday night for drinks and a snack and were greeted by live music and seated right away. It's such a cute place and service was excellent. I ordered one of their margarita specials and it was so tasty! The pour was not light either, which I really appreciate, and definitely a homemade mix. The buffalo wings were solid and the dressing is homemade. I would for sure return to have a full meal.“
