I now live in the greater Buffalo area, and have tried many of its so called Mexican restaurant that to my mind were just a tad better than eating at Taco Bell. I recently dined at a restaurant in Cheektowaga call Taqueria Los Mayas… and let me tell you… their food is as close to actually eating in Mexico as you can get. From the very beginning, Hannah, the event coordinator, was beyond phenomenal. She made everything feel easy, organized, and completely stress free. Everything went off without a hitch and that is not something you can say often when it comes to events like this. Tori, our server, was just as amazing. My main complaint is that we had set reservations and wanted it to sit us at the first table near the door in the middle of where everybody walks in.

“I've only had a handful of poor experiences here since the day they opened the (original) restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. Disappointing overall experience.“
