“Everything is amazing. Seriously. I have been coming herenfor many years, sunce they first opened their doors. They have consistently delivered excellent service, excellent food, and excellent drinks. I make it a point to visit a while every time I come to Ithaca. I do encourage people to be patient when it gets busy here: they usually have a small staff on duty and if you come during a rush, you will just have to wait. Remember, this isn’t some big corporation! It’s owned and operated by members of the community, for members of the community. Try them out and enjoy your visit, you will NOT regret it!“

“Great coffee & excellent atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable and skilled staff of baristas! As good a cuppa as I've ever had anywhere has made Gimme! A daily habit.Parking: Usually a spot out front or in the lot across the not too busy street.“

“We always enjoy ourselves here. The food and beer selection is wide, so there's a bit of something for everyone. I'm doing dry February, and they had a terrific NA beer from Athletic! My vegetarian friend enjoyed the cauliflower wings. We accommodated a group of 10 on the fly (had unexpected extras), and the staff was ok with us putting tables together. Another nice table of guests even agreed to switch tables with our large group. It just shows that the people here, both patrons and employees, are into the friendly vibe.“

“Botanist had a great ambiance, but a limited menu. Virtually no food, though maybe that's not the case if you visit very early in the morning. Also if you don't want a to go cup, you can only select 12 oz. drinks. So I had to go with less coffee than I wanted, but it was worth it to enjoy the space and people watch with a mug in hand. There was plenty of parking, and both indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't too noisy, and the plants and design made for a great spot!“

“Their espresso is the best that I have had in Ithaca, and is the best espresso I've had outside NYC. It has sweetness and fullness, with a very mild tang of acidity. They make sure to give you an actual espresso cup and not a paper monstrosity. I would recommend this place very highly. I think most people treat coffee like a liquid dessert. They pump their full of artificial flavors and sugar, and then wonder why they felt terrible after drinking it. Coffee is an experience. You should enjoy just the espresso, with no additional fluff. Press Café makes it easy to do that. The only criticism I have, and this is truly looking for one, is that I wish they were open longer. If they were open earlier I would give them a lot more business- perhaps every day. If they were open later I would do the same.“

“We were expecting a coffee/tea shop, and had no prior experience with Kava. John, the cool guy behind the bar, introduced us to the culture and the proper Kava drinking etiquette. Prices are reasonable for what it is and the experience. Lots of space that is used for events, social gatherings, etc. On the day we went (Saturday) there weren't any events listed, but a decent gathering showed up. Great place to chill out and mingle.Side note: I strongly recommend dudes to not use the restroom here... Only if you're desperate...Parking: Ample space to park, but the lot is shared with the small market shops nearby.“

“Great place for a to-go drink. Their matcha latte is great—many places have sub-par matcha so this is exciting! Very little indoor seating, but lots of outdoor seating for warm weather. I have taken a friend here and then walked to Ithaca Falls many a time.“

“Love this place! Would've been 5 stars across the board, but the worker today was not as friendly as you would expect. Everyone has an off day, though, so I will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: There were a few desserts that were gluten free, and tasted amazing!!!“
“This coffee shop ENCOURAGES customers to be more environmentally responsible by giving people discount when they bring their own mugs! So far, this is a very rare and precious practice in Ithaca, and I highly recommend people to go buy coffee at Gimme to support this practice (and its coffee is great ?“

“So good! The people who work here are exceptionally kind and the food they make is delicious. We always get a Reuben and tiramisu or coffee cake (which is cinnamony and walnuty). You can sit outside on a nice day and they will bring you your order. I’m so lucky I live down the street!“

“Visited Ithaca for a few days this past weekend and loved the space here. Had the Sweet Potato Hash, with an extra scrambled egg on top and it came out amazing. I also had the two egg scramble, and that was awesome too. There wasn't much wait time, though you do have to order up at the register and bus yourself. When my brother and I came early afternoon on Saturday, we missed a rush of students coming in for their food. Great place to talk to come cool locals/students while chomping on some great food. The Barista who was there (a college aged young lady) was on top of her game with the caffeinated drinks. Order your drinks separately, and enjoy!!Great place and highly recommend. Seating is limited, but we were always able to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Quaint atmosphere which Kids, (and adults) will enjoy!!Parking: The lot is shared with what I assumed was student housing. Not lots of street parking in Ithaca, but we drove into a spot on the side. Also some room in the far back.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter the establishment.“

“I love coming here- I love right up the road and work just about a half mile away at the elementary school. It’s a shame they don’t open early enough for me to go before work, because I would! Not only do they open late, but they close early- 3:30! I haven’t left work at that point unfortunately, so I can only go on the weekends.“
“This cafe is very cute but it is hard to find. It is in the basement of the building so if you go inside on either side of the central entrance there are these staircases that look like they're going to a creepy basement but they actually go there. Or there's a central entrance that also looks kind of sketchy. But once you find it it's not sketchy at all! It has an awesome aesthetic and is a great place to study or do group work.“

“CTB is a great place to have a quick bite when in Ithaca. The bagels and the sandwiches are good. Prices are also very reasonable. There are no table service, and the line to order could be quite long at peak times. However, the line does move fairly quickly as the staff taking the orders and the staff preparing the food are very efficient.“

“i go through here at least 10 times a week and every single time without fail my drink is absolutely scrumptious. i’m talking lip smacking, almost devour the cup it comes in because i don’t want it to be over kind of scrumptious. and don’t even get me started on the staff. so kind, quick and respectful. i’ve grown a bond with them because of how sweet they are. i even added some of them to my will because of how much they really changed my life. best place on earth, couldn’t recommend enough.“
