“the food was DELICIOUS the bowl was so so warm it felt so homey in ma belly. i got eggs added in in my ramen, SO GOOEY. the bartenders working were incredibly sweet and they really brightened up my pretty rough night. SO GRATEFUL FOR THOSE TWO 🤞! the music playing was so vibey and upbeat, i genuinely cannot express my content for the yummy food and super swag workers.“

“I’ve dined here a few times… the vibe is pretty awesome, laid back and welcoming. The family owned restaurant offers a great selection from Chef Adrian’s awesome vision of French and south East Asian cuisine ! Pretty cool combo. When you arrive you’re greeted and seated. I recommend reservations as it can fill up quickly. On our first trip there we tried the lobster shooters which are a must try. Basically you get a piece of lobster in a shot glass with a coconut curry concoction.. take the shot and boom 🤯 what a creative amazing app! We also had the salt and pepper cod over garlicky fried rice and their shaken beef dish! Both dishes were prepared with one thought in mind! perfection. They have a pretty neat dessert collection that you won’t find on most menus, you can say it’s unique to this restaurant. The coco panna cotta, key lime pie, passion fruit pavlova and my absolute favorite the coconut tapioca pudding! All prepared in house. Other must try’s are the Rockstar shrimp which is fried popcorn shrimp, iceberg lettuce, sweet chili sauce, lime. Both shrimp and veggie pan fried dumplings, the rooster wings and the late great lemongrass mussels. My hands down favorite dish had to the steak frittes which comes szechuan maitre'd butter, french fries, spicy mayo! Honorable mention on their lunch menu for me is the Bahn Mi sandwich My wife loves the Vietnamese crepe - This is a must try if offered, this was made famous and can be seen featured in one of the episodes of Beat Bobby Flay! Where the chef took down the world renown celebrity chef to beat Bobby Flay! In short a great spot to have a nice date, or even celebrate a birthday! And on nice days you can sit outside in their outdoor patio area.“

“Everything was delicious. I had shrimp toast and a dinner combo: sesame chicken with fried rice, an egg roll, and soup. They made my sesame chicken spicy for me which I appreciated. The portions were generous and the waiter was attentive to all my requests. I would come again.“

“I would have gave them 5 stars but I originally wanted the bento box and was told that it was only a lunch special from Mon-Sat which was not stated on the menu. Instead, she recommended a dinner special with the same items for an additional $10. Other than that, the food was amazing 10/10 and so was the service and atmosphere. “Two people in our party, Friday evening, no reservation, but we were seated promptly, choosing to sit at the bar. The service and the food was very good. We commented to the owner/manager about one dish we didn't love, a jalapeno yellowtail ponzu (sauce was over powering) and we were given six sashimi slices of yellowtail on the house to assure our satisfaction. A nice gesture that was not expected or necessary but shows the attention to customer service. Lots of choices for cold sake, fresh fish, great customer service. A win!“

“As sad as I was to see GameStop leave the Pelham Parkway area it was short lived as a sushi spot came to the area for the first time adding something unique and much sought after to the community. I remember in the 2000’s when sushi was something you traveled in a car for miles on the weekend with family to get and now here we are where you can get it every day for a low cost. The Shrimp Tempura roll and Angry Dragon roll are my go to’s and are an amazing quality item and a low cost, light lunch. The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make my food fresh for a coworker I was gifting lunch to making the surprise even better. I wish this place continued success and will always be a loyal customer!“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“Ordered take out. Was looking for a great tasting sesame chicken made with white meat. Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“Since Steam changed owners, it feels like a completely new restaurant—and the food is absolutely delicious! It’s unfortunate that reviews from the previous ownership are still weighing down their rating, because the new menu, staff, and food are all fantastic.
The tofu lettuce cups, Szechuan dumplings, scallion pancakes, and bamboo-fired fish are absolute must-tries. And definitely ask for extra dumpling sauce—it’s amazing for dipping the fish!
If you love Chinese food, I highly recommend giving Steam a try. Don’t let the older reviews deter you—the new Steam is fantastic!“
