We decided to keep things easy and celebratory by ordering three of the restaurant's party platter dishes to share. This was a fantastic decision. The quality was super across the board. Every piece of sushi, sashimi, and every roll was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You could tell that the fish was of the highest grade, practically melting in your mouth.

The platters were not only generous in portion but also artfully arranged, making our table look incredibly festive. Even with our large group of ten, the three platters provided more than enough variety and food for everyone to enjoy their fill.

From start to finish, the food was the highlight—authentic, fresh, and exceptionally high quality. If you're looking for a special place to celebrate a milestone with a large group, or just want to enjoy some truly great Japanese cuisine, Tiger Sushi is highly recommended. “I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

“I got a takeout order of the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box to try this place for the first time. The chicken was really soft and delicious. Under the chicken there is cabbage and broccoli which were both cooked well. The California roll was good - the rice had good flavor, and the avocado was soft. I feel more confident to try their raw sushi now. I'll update my review whenever I get around to trying that.

This place used to be a Chinese store, and around 2022 a new management took over and turned it into a sushi place. it still looks like a regular Bronx Chinese store inside. Unlike other sushi restaurants, this isn't really the kind of place I'd want to sit and eat. But it's great for takeout.“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

I couldn’t really taste the difference between sushi places until coming here and now I can’t go back. Chef kama and chef komodo’s craftsmanship shows. For kitchen entrees, there hasn’t been one thing I’ve tried that’s bad and just a great variety of selection. I’d definitely come any days besides Saturdays or at least before 8pm on Sat to avoid the rush.“

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.
