“I got a takeout order of the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box to try this place for the first time. The chicken was really soft and delicious. Under the chicken there is cabbage and broccoli which were both cooked well. The California roll was good - the rice had good flavor, and the avocado was soft. I feel more confident to try their raw sushi now. I'll update my review whenever I get around to trying that.

This place used to be a Chinese store, and around 2022 a new management took over and turned it into a sushi place. it still looks like a regular Bronx Chinese store inside. Unlike other sushi restaurants, this isn't really the kind of place I'd want to sit and eat. But it's great for takeout.“

“Brought my parents here for dinner. I ordered chirashi (sashimi style fish over rice), my dad ordered a sushi combo, and my mom got the broiled mackerel (saba). Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great — restaurant is nicely decorated and they were playing soft jazz music in the background. “I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

Winnie and Sherry served our table, and they were lovely to talk to. I had yaki udon. Mommy had salmon teriyaki. Her aide had a tempura box. Hubby had a katsu box. The ginger dressing for the salad was awesome. Each bento box includes a California roll but my noodle came with it too. Overall, the experience was pretty good. We don’t mind coming back.“
