“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and everything came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend la riserva to my friends.“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“Yummy food and delicious, flavorful drinks. I got the angus burger and my friend got the sliders and truffle fries. I really enjoyed the burger, the sauce was great, however, I didn’t taste any cheese in it. The fries were good as well. My friend got the autumn yuzu peach fizz cocktail and I got the el Diablo. The inside of the restaurant is relatively spacious, cute and colorful, and has chair, booth, and bar seating and several tv’s. The staff is kind and service is quick. I really enjoyed my brief conversation with one of the owners (Ro) about Ireland! We walked in today (Saturday) around 4:15pm and it wasn’t crowded, no wait for a table. Noise level inside is quiet as well.“

“We had a wonderful athlete team party yesterday at Kiko Ramen in Manhasset.
John and his staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the event. They provided us with a private area for the team, while the parent guests were comfortably seated in another section.
They even created a special group menu that included appetizers, entrées, and drinks. It was an excellent experience overall. For anyone planning a gathering in the neighborhood, Kiko Ramen is definitely the place to go!“

“I have been to Saigon Table twice. Once with the whole family. We all enjoyed it and they are very safe for people with Celiac.

That night I met the owner Lynn N Lee. She talked about wanting to bring high quality Vietnamese food to this side of Westchester. Everything is made from scratch, including a beef broth slowly made from Pat Lafrieda bones. Her sauces are unique and delicious. My husband loved his Pho. The kids had delicious chicken and beef skewers and some rice noodles. She uses GF soy sauce and a great GF fish sauce as well.

I returned last night with a friend whose husband is a chef and she also loved it. I recommended the chicken soup because I had once picked it up for my mom and was blown away by the layered depth of flavor of the broth.

The place is simple and casual, yet thoughtfully designed. The service is warm and friendly, but be patient as they tend to receive a lot of take out orders and everyone knows that this is sometimes hard to balance.

I could eat the beef skewers every day. They are cooked perfectly medium rare and the marinade is insane.

“I’ve lived near this spot in New Rochelle for more than 20 years and it’s a shame that only in my last couple months of living here I started dining at this location. If I had quality like this around the corner earlier, this review would’ve appeared 10 years ago. “Stopped by randomly, around 9pm. Nuff a the food were finished(sold out) but we got the pepper steak w/rice&peas and raw vegetables (shredded carrots and cabbage,love it!) and sweet chilie wings w/rice and peas. Firstly, rice and peas can eat by itself! Well nice!! She wanted oxtail but it was basically done but server(wish i got her name) gave us the few small pieces with the gravy to her rice. “Highly recommend their lunch special. You pick 2 out of 4 options (soup, salad, pasta, panini) and they put it in a box which is convenient when you’re on the go. “The staff across the street recommend this place for my daughter who is a Vegetarian. I felt so at home with the service, Alberto provided! He explained everything in detail. I was able to give my daughter many options to choose from. She got the Greek Mediterranean Quinoa and added Falafo for $4.20 extra charge. My daughter fell in love, she asks to go there everyday now after her practices. I am so glad to have found this HIDDEN GEM in Yonkers!“

“I had an awesome experience at Westchester Taco Grill. The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of personality. I ordered the pernil taco and it was absolutely loaded with juicy pork and bold seasoning. The tequila lime chicken bowl with quinoa was light but super satisfying, and the DIY burrito I built (steak, mushrooms, mango salsa, queso fresco) was honestly one of the best I’ve had.

The loaded fries were ridiculous in the best way cheese wiz, queso fresco, and bacon, total comfort food. I also tried two drinks the spicy strawberry margarita and their signature “Something Waco” both were unique and hit the spot. Finished with the tres leches cake, which was rich and creamy without being too heavy.

Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the whole vibe was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, and recommending to friends!“
