I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

“If you’re looking for an amazing Puerto Rican meal, this is the place to go! The alcapurrias were out of this world! And if you know what good alcapurrias taste like then this is the place to go! The lobster and shrimp mofongo was PHENOMENAL and the spicy crab tostones, Asian fusion, CHEFS KISS! The chipotle mac and cheese was such a delicious start to my meal! Overall, everything was a hit! “Finally! I have seen and heard about this truck and have wanted to stop by so many times. Usually I'm in a rush or I pass by after they have gone for the day. The owners were welcoming and seemed to have a good raport with people who seemed to be their regular customers. They recommend the steak and beef tongue , and I also tried the chicken. Other popular ones were sold out, which is always a good sign.The food was fresh and had good flavor. I liked the beef tongue most, which was really tender and slightly gamey. Prices were also reasonable for the amount you get. The horchata was refreshing and not too sweet. Most customers seemed to pull up in the parking lot, which is convenient for the busy street they're on. I will definitely be back for this- authentic and delicious!“

“As a fellow business owner in Morris Park, I like to shine a light on other businesses that do right by their clients/customers. This place has really good food and the customer service is great. The torta that I ordered was delicious. It was one of the best sandwiches that I had in a while.“

“Diner vibes interior and staff are serving great tacos! This would be our third time coming back and we love their tacos. It's a little pricey but the flavor really makes up for it. They've changed their menu since the last time we came.

Staff are more comfortable speaking in Spanish but can easily accommodate English speaking people (like myself). They're all very friendly and sweet! The tacos come out piping hot but once you let it cool down a little, you'll eat them so fast because they're so good. They also make burritos and the burrito is huge. My friend only managed to eat half and had to share it.

They also have desserts like flan and tres leches cake in the back fridge as well as mangonadas and ice cream in their ice cream freezer. Their flan is custardy and not overwhelmingly sweet which I liked.
Overall, highly recommend!

“I ordered Birria Ramen for the first time and boy was I in for a treat. I was hesitant at first to try it. That being said, I thought just give it a try and you just might like it. Well, like is a mild word. I LOVED it! So tasty with just the right amount of seasonings. The ramen was al dente, not mushy. I hate mushy noodles. The sauce and the birria was sooo delicioso. It came in a large container that could easily have fed two people or if for one person, there was enough leftover to have a meal the next day, which happened to be exactly what I have done. Can't wait to eat it tonight for dinner.

So the moral of this story is give The Kitchen a try, if you have not as of yet. Order the absolutely delicious birria ramen and you will not be disappointed! As a matter of fact, I will try other offerings at The Kitchen. I sure the food will be as tasty as the birria ramen.“

“The food was delicious and the servings were huge. One dish could feed at least 3 people. The alcohol drinks were pricey and tasted like they barely had alcohol, but they were also good. Our food took kind of long, but it was delicious. The service was really good and they stayed on top of helping us. It was my birthday and they put my cake in the refrigerator and brought it out and sang me happy birthday when it was time. I had a party of 13 and we were comfortably seated. “I’ve read some of the negative reviews and I can only imagine it was an off day or something as my experiences there have only been great. The main guy at the counter is very courteous and they are super at making your meal especially if it’s right off the menu. If you’re asking for substitutes or extras just make sure they heard you and got it right. I recommend the wraps and the paninis but I also get an egg platter or French toast. The juices are a bit pricey for me but I think most get them for the sake of drinking a healthy juice. I really like the place it’s the best all around deli all around here.
