I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

Tecas Tacos is a food truck parked right outside Flower Park in New Rochelle, and it is absolutely worth the trip. I tried the beef tongue taco for the first time, and it blew me away. Slow cooked for six hours, it was unbelievably tender and flavorful, topped with fresh onions and salsa verde.

I also had the quesabirria (birria quesadillas), which came with a rich consomé for dipping, insanely good. The al pastor taco had that perfect pineapple pork combo, and the steak and birria tacos were on point too.

Everything was bursting with flavor, and I washed it all down with a cold Mexican Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, the perfect touch. If you’re a taco lover or just someone who appreciates authentic, high-quality street food, this truck is a MUST.

The lobster and shrimp mofongo was PHENOMENAL and the spicy crab tostones, Asian fusion, CHEFS KISS! The chipotle mac and cheese was such a delicious start to my meal! Overall, everything was a hit! I found this restaurant through a TikTok video that mentioned they serve barbacoa de chivo (tender goat meat) on weekends—so I decided to take my dad here for Father’s Day. We ordered the birria tacos with handmade tortillas, and let me tell you… those tortillas are a 10/10—absolutely worth it!

My dad got the ribeye, and he gave it a solid 10/10 as well. Of course, we came for the barbacoa, and it did not disappoint. Words can’t describe how good it was tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.

The drinks were also amazing. My mom loved the tamarind, and I personally went for the Jamaica. Both perfectly refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness to complement the food.

To top it all off, we had the homemade flan and churros absolutely delicious.

But what really made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Shoutout to Alex and Paulina for taking the time to explain the menu and make sure everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Their hospitality was top-tier.

The service was good, and even though it has a very humble look to it, it's clean and fresh. We were happily surprised and would return. “The food was delicious and the servings were huge. One dish could feed at least 3 people. The alcohol drinks were pricey and tasted like they barely had alcohol, but they were also good. Our food took kind of long, but it was delicious. The service was really good and they stayed on top of helping us. It was my birthday and they put my cake in the refrigerator and brought it out and sang me happy birthday when it was time. I had a party of 13 and we were comfortably seated. They also have valet parking. It was a really good birthday here.“

Diagonally across the street from Capitol Theater/Garcia’s on Port Chester, so couldn’t be more convenient. Quick, friendly service, but very basic menu. I’m not a drinker, but I saw lots of beer snd Margaritas being served and enjoyed.
