“I wish I had room for more!!

As I entered the restaurant I was immediately greeted with friendly faces. I sat down at the sushi bar and as I was sitting down I was given hot tea & a miso soup without asking (which was VERY appreciated on this 18° day).

Their menu was easy to look through with plenty of options and a nice casual environment to go with it.

I got the Linda roll and two different types of nigiri and holy portion sizes!! They were full and incredibly fresh bites. Highly recommend, will be back when I'm in town again.“

“Kobe Hibachi definitely knows how to impress! I came for hibachi, but the real star of the show ended up being their poke bowl. Fresh, vibrant, and absolutely loaded with toppings, it felt like a treasure chest of deliciousness. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portion size was surprisingly huge, especially for such a reasonable price. It’s the kind of bowl that makes you feel like you’re winning at life.

“The food is delicious! The boba tea (I got Taro) is not too sweet, but a perfect balance. The boba (tapioca pearls) were flavorful too. The ramen soup is scrumptious. So many different flavors. I can’t fit it all in, great portions. The pork is juicy and crispy and flavorful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. This was my second time here, getting the same thing, because it’s so good! It was a little on the expensive side (12.50 for the pork ramen, 6.50 for the boba) overall, 5 stars.“

“Chef Carl made sure to ask about each persons preferences in the beginning and accommodated spice level and even amount of rice. Immediately upon entry our party felt taken care of - being greeted, led to our seats and setup, fast drink service with excellent recommendations from the bartender and although the reservation slots are timed, we never felt rushed out of the restaurant. Lifetimers of Sushi by Bou - we love you in Albany!!“

“Have ordered take-out many times and had several of the menu items. Food tastes great. Can ask for mild when ordering the dishes labeled spicy and they come mild - the kitchen staff does what you ask. When they are busy, the counter staff start to move fast and can be a bit curt. I don't take offense. They are busy because the food is excellent. As for atmosphere, the decor could use a little sprucing-up.“

“Amazing!!! I try to come every time I’m in Albany area! The food is amazing and fresh all the time. Been here more than 10 times in 6 weeks and it is so worth it! These days it isn’t worth going out to eat because the service and quality isn’t there anymore but this place is the exception! The clear soup is so delicious also.“

“Never have had a bad meal from there. We get lunch from there once a week and everything has been amazing. Best sweet potato sushi ever! The beef ramen I had today was phenomenal! We love this place!“

“We have always gone here for any celebrations and had a great experience. Tonight was good but not great. We were a party of 12 and made reservations. Once we were all seated it was like we were rushed to leave. Ordered drinks which too longer than normal. Order two plates of sushi and they came mid way through our meal. Cooking started before soup or salad. Once the cooking was done. Boxes came out but we were celebrating our granddaughter’s 7th birthday. So was asked if we could get something for her. Took a little bit but ice cream, candle and singing but there were 5 other kids at the table who wanted ice cream too. Asked for them to have some and waited 20 minutes. It was such an odd experience. We will go back but please slow down Hanzo! This is what we pay for…a nice evening out. To give a time frame, we sat down at 435 and we were done at 530 but then waited for ice cream.“

“We got the chicken parmigiana. It was very good. The red sauce was exceptional. The chicken was slightly crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered the shumai, miso soup, and a mixed variety of sushi for takeout. It travelled well, and my only regret is that I wish I ordered a few more pieces of sushi. Not that I was left hungry... Surprisingly well-presented for takeout food.“

“This place is amazing. I didn't know what to expect going in to the all you can eat restaurant. I was happily surprised that it's not buffet style. Servers and bussers. The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. Everything combined made this experience one of the best outings I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“
