“This place was recommended to us during the drive home, well worth the 10min detour. Excellent brewed coffee, much better than any of the large franchise places. Unique atmosphere and staff was very friendly. Can’t comment on the food, as we only had the coffees.“

“The food was outstanding. My mouth is watering just thinking about the Big Dipper sandwich, which I highly recommend. They are creative with the combinations of ingredients, as well as the fun names. It's a must try....and try again and again. It's also fun to be inside the historic building. An old high school turned into an art Center. Check it all out!“

“I was just at an event were Soups and things catered.I highly recommend them,100 out of 100. I had there burger and pountine.OMG,never in my life have I had a burger that tasted like heaven. They are super nice and accommodated my needs for my food and go that extra mile for you.I just can't say enough about them. The church I go to has outside events am I am going to make sure Soups and Things will be there.I swear on my own life get them to cater your next event, you will not be disappointed. I review books, clothing and food events so I know what I am talking about.I know this burger might look plain but it is do to allergies that I only eat cheese and bacon.“

“Fantastic and relaxing. We enjoyed Sunday lunch. Our party of 8 loved the food, the knowlegeable service (Thanks Chrissy), the atmosphere.
Note, the lunch portions are large. You will not leave hungry.
Cannot speak about desserts as we were all full, with some taking leftovers home.
Excellant value for the pricing, and just as important a great atmosphere away from the hustle of city life.
Will absolutely return.“
“Never would I have guessed that such an inexpensive pizza slice would taste so good! The combo of pop and pizza is actually 2 large slices and a refillable pop for dirt cheap. Definitely a place to stop for sustenance when shopping on Military Road!“
“A brand new café has just opened up! They kicked off the soft opening offering coffee, chickpeas salad, pasta, Ceasar's salad and soups on a weekly rotation. There's also some pastries and snacks. It is a great thing that Community Centre has a café again!“
“The Royal Cafe has a great breakfast. Plenty of choices are modest prices. Specials are unbelievable - very inexpensive - plenty of food and served lightning fast. The sausage gravy and biscuits is in another area code. Biscuits are nice and light - have the perfect amount of crispness. Sausage gravy is thick, perfectly seasoned with plenty of sausage! Service is really good and attentive - no empty cups here! Lots of good choices for lunch or dinner as well. A real gem!“

I am quite picky with my coffee choices, and this place fits the bill. Not many places have good coffee beans, I've been to many. Most of the places are too sour or too bitter, This place was great. They have the lavazza super crema, which is a premium coffee and not many places use that since it's expensive. I enjoy that coffee bean quite a bit, so that was a plus for me personally.
The owner is a great guy and loves to engage with his customers.
Ps: they love their tennis, so going there when a grandslam tournament is going on will be even better, haha.“

“I have to agree with all the reviews! This place was clean, staff friendly, food was delicious. We will definitely come back while we are here. I had waffle, eggs and bacon, he had bacon, eggs, grits. Grits were very good, waffle was light and fluffy, bacon and eggs perfectly cooked.“

“We loved the ice cream cake we ordered from Creeksides Ice Cream Parlour and Cafe for our son’s 5th birthday. It was a dinosaur 🦕 theme. John was not only happy that his cake was ice cream but that it had a dinosaur 🦖 on it. Needless to say our big boy had a happy birthday. Thank you Tammy for adding to his big day and with limited notice. Well done 👍.“

“Actual Dippin Dots location, and not just pre-prepared packages. The fresh ones always taste so much better. Quick and excellent service. I forgot my change and they ran after me to give it back to me! Not cheap, but Dippin Dots never are anywhere.“

“Very very friendly customer service reps.( I was served by Brigette and Patty..hope I got their names right ) It is not a junky looking cheap souvenier looking store. The prices are reasonable. They carry local. Layout is inviting and lots of room to move freely. Tasting the syrups with pancakes FREE..wow how often does that happen?? Free parking and lots..easy to go in and out. Next time I will have to try their poutine“

“I am away from home working, this restaurant had food that was as close to a home cooked breakfast I’ve had.
The service was excellent and I haven’t felt that welcomed in a restaurant before. It’s a home style, friendly, place that you imagine when you think “diner”.
