Bella Rose Vineyard & Winery Winery • $
1243 Ridge Rd, Lewiston

“Despite the surrounding areas, Fellas is a Must See!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxed. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The server was awesome and checked on us several times. We had a blast here and recommend it to everyone. Great selection of all types of wines.I will come again on my next trip to the Niagara NY side. There's not much to see in the area but this spot is a Go To Spot for this area!! Grabbed a few bottles to take back home (if they make it that far).“

Pillitteri Estates Winery Wineries • $$
1696 Niagara Stone Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 6.97 miles

“Very interesting winery that makes incredibly good ice wines, in addition to reds. You can drive I'm for tastings, but for the restaurant reserventions are recommended. I recommend the Winemakers Cabernet Franc, as well as the Cabernet Franc ice wine and Shiraz ice wine.... unfortunately, they've told us to store the ice wines we bought in the freezer so they would become more liquerish and they all froze up...“

Château des Charmes Wineries • $$
1025 York Rd, St. Davids - 7.47 miles

“First time here, what a beautiful experience and property. Came family day long weekend, with my mother and sister, it was a very cold day (would love to return to tour the grounds when it is warmer). We took part in the Premium Wine Tasting, where we ordered one of each accompaniment, charcuterie, cheeses and artisanal chocolates. Our host, Michelle, was very kind and knowledgeable about the wines. It was a lovely experience, and everything tasted great, six wines each definitely was plenty haha, the pairing were lovely. Will definitely be back in the warmer weather.“

Stratus Vineyards Wineries • $$$
2059 Niagara Stone Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 6.54 miles

“My wife arranged a white label tasting while we were in NOTL, and we had visited the winery 6 years ago but with a large group so this was much better not being rushed. The tasting was very good and the host is very knowledgeable so you won’t be bored. She seemed to love the winery and everything about wine and we give her a 10 out of 10. We liked most of the wines but the ones presented I think need to cellar a bit but they were still outstanding. I would highly recommend the tasting as you will not be disappointed.“

Marjim Manor at the Falls (satellite location) Winery •
28 Old Falls St, Niagara Falls - 8.27 miles

“My friend and I made this an additional stop on our road trip and we're both very glad we did! We visited the smaller satellite location at Niagara Falls, NY on our way out of town. The location was small but rather quaint and laid back. The gentleman serving our wine tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. He had many unique and interesting stories to tell behind many of the different wines, and also had all the jokes! Between the atmosphere, interesting tales and humor, it made the experience fun and quite memorable for us both. As for the wine.... AMAZING!!! We stopped there because we noticed they served an Apricot wine, which is something we don't encounter very often. We sampled many of their selections (including the Apricot of course) and enjoyed each flavor. In the end we each purchased six bottles from the selection we sampled, and spent the evening drinking one of our bottles of Apricot wine at our next destination for the evening. This stop most definitely added to our road trip experience! I highly recommend if you enjoy different fruit wines!“

Inniskillin Wines Wineries • $$
1499 Line 3, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 4.16 miles

“This was the first ice winery we visited on Feb 25, 2023 just after lunch. This was the largest and busiest vineyard we visited as it's the oldest and most famous, I believe. It would be lovely in any season and plenty of parking. Our group of 4 managed to find seats at the end of the tasting bar and service was fine. There was a printed menu and plenty of little nibbles available with wine tasting. Spicy nuts + Riesling (sharp), Cheese + Vidal (fruity), Chocolate + Cab franc (rich). We did all buy some wine and chocolate and would come back for a longer visit. Today we visited three wineries on our first trip to Niagara.“

Riverview Cellars Winery Wineries • $$
15376 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 3.85 miles

“We tried the wine tasting of 4 choices and they were very good. Personally I loved the Cabernet Franc red ice wine ($99 for 3 sale going on right now when a bottle could be easily $50 to $100 each or more) which was Uber sweet and so good and so smooth. It was really a great experience and a nice atmosphere with 80s music and indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They sell chocolate, sauces, jams, cheese, cured meats, chips, wine seltzers, and cute gadgets and magnets. The manager Vince was so gracious and friendly and because of him we bought wines to take home to the US. And the ice wines are great too! Try it.“

Frogpond Farm Organic Winery Winery •
1385 Larkin Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 4.37 miles

“Fun, small, organic, family run vineyard and working farm? I'm in!! For as small as they are, the lineup of wines is much broader than you might expect. We thought, oh, maybe three or four wines. Ha! Plan on coming back, because you're going to want to try them all. There are plenty of familiar faces (chardonnay, reisling (dry!), merlot, cabernet franc, gamay, blends, icewine. But one of the joys of visiting a small winery is the chance to taste novel bottles from the winemaker that you won't find anywhere else. Love Child, for example, is simply a treat. A little more sugar than we drink normally, but this is something special - and unique. You have to come and try it all and choose your own favorites, but I'd be surprised if many people walk away empty handed. (even West Coasty wine snobs like us, haha!!)Keep up the great work everyone, and keep right on experimenting! We love your creative spirit!“

Marynissen Estates Winery Winery • $
1208 Concession 1 Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 4.47 miles

“I discovered Marynissen in 2014 with receiving “Bottoms Up” at a dinner. I loved it because it had sediments and it was the best bottle of wine I ever had, before it was found in LCBO. Wow, I can’t believe I have been drinking your wine for 10 years and feel a bit old typing this now.Joining the book club in 2024 has been a new year resolution and connecting with great people today at the first get together meant so much to me. I want to be 90 one day and share my story of how I came across this beautiful place while toasting “Bottom’s Up”! While the company we keep, ownership, and label may change, Marynissen will always be magical for me. Thank you! ?“

Two Sisters Vineyards Winery • $$$
240 John St E, Niagara-on-the-Lake - 5.37 miles

“A beautiful place and a wonderful wine tasting experience with a Master sommelier. The place feels a bit like an estate, though was actually all built for the vineyards. We took a quick tour of the building, starting with the cellar. I was hoping it is where the tasting would be, alas! The tasting was set in a private room on the second floor. You can only get there by the elevator accompanied by someone with a fob :) the room was nicely set with some food and bottles of wine for sommeliers choosing. In total we tried 8 different wines, starting with a bubbly we were greeted with to start the experience, 3 whites and 4 reds. Some were same wine made in different years so you could really taste the difference, which was stark.Overall, had a great time and the 2 hour experience felt intimate yet very social. I personally learned a lot, was able to get answers to a wide variety of questions. We about 3 wines from the list we tried, plus a blush bubbly we tasted in the bottle shop.Best to get a reservation for the restaurant, we were lucky to get a table for some coffee and desert, everything was booked. A cozy Italian style restaurant.“

“This is my first experience with wine tasting, and it was so great. The guy who assisted us is named Herb. He is such a nice and lovely guy. He explains about wine very carefully and with passion. Overall, I like the Vidal Icewine. Besides, Canada is well known for its ice wine as well. That is why I am curious to try this ice wine. Vidal Icewine from Reif Estate Winery has won the gold medal in the international ice wine competition for the last few years (I forgot how many years, but 2024 for sure).“
