“Roadside greasy spoon for burgers and dogs and ice cream. Good food and plenty of outdoor seating space. A little country store right next to it with a fun mix of weird decorations adds to the charm. Indoor the store serves breakfast with mix matched chairs, even barber chairs for seating.”

“I had the roast beef grilled cheese and hubby had the chopped steak sub. Both were absolutely AWESOME. The fries we got as a side were crunchy, crispy and PERFECT. I also picked up some Italian cookies while we were there. It was our first time eating here, and we will definitely be back.”

“Our group of 6 had a wonderful experience last night for dinner. My wife and I had a full rack of their St. Louis pork ribs smothered in lingonberry BBQ sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked with a soft pull apart tenderness that left a clean bone. The sauce was great; if you like lightly sweetened lingonberries, you're going to love this. We also had an order of smoked cauliflower which was new to us. It was tasty and novel, almost like a meaty veggie. We also had pit beans and potato salad. All yummy and way too much so we brought a bunch of it home. So A+ on the food. Other highlights include friendly service (it wasn't busy so we had engaging conversations with the manager/server/host? - wish I had asked more about her role); overall aesthetic (nice old converted building with brick walls and high tin ceiling) and design theme (LOVE the 20th sci-fi comic book look); ordering simplicity (via QR code and Toast app, though it took our older friends a moment to figure it out); and beer choices (including Surly, from Minneapolis (we've visited their brewery - it's big and fun)). Great location with easy parking. Excellent experience all around. Highly recommended!”

“Erin went absolutely above and beyond with our cookies and cherry cheesecake for our wedding! She was so easy to work with for our out of town wedding. We consider ourselves cheesecake connoisseurs, and that was far and away the best cheesecake we have ever had in our lives. My husband arrived 20 minutes early to pick everything up, and Erin had everything ready and waiting, and helped carry everything across the street and loaded it into the car. Please go see Erin at Vanilla Lane, she is wonderful!”

“Just had another lovely dinner at Galene. Every time I go, I try a different dish. This time I had the foil/broil haddock and it was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is gorgeous with views of the lake and an elegant atmosphere. The icing on the cake was our server, Piper, who will greet you with sunshine and genuine warmth. She’s attentive and responsive, and she helped make our night perfect. I hope she is our server next time because she makes the experience top notch. Her lovely demeanor and attentive service puts a perfect finishing touch on a great meal.”

“My elderly dad was having a fit about his Beef on Wek sandwich not being right, after I explained to him that it was, but two different management people very patiently worked with him on it three different times and tried to get it to what his expectations were. They came out beautifully, and I'm mad at myself for not getting a picture of them before they were completely devoured. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious and beautifully decorated they were. Sweet Arts was so easy to communicate with and provided us a suggestion for the decorated cookies. We love treating ourselves to their sweets and coffee every so often and I wanted to share their delicious treats with our party guests. Thank you Sweet Arts for making such delicious and beautiful deserts for our daughter's graduation party 🥰”

“The Cake Place was absolutely amazing for my wedding. The communication was amazing since my original email. She was so prompt and responsive the entire way. Setting up a tasting was so easy. The cake and the frosting options tasted absolutely amazing. The wedding day - the cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. And it tasted just as amazing. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Jack, Ken and Steph’s Breakfast Review took us to Lakeville, NY to the Lakeville Family Restaurant. A family owned diner that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Small diner but very clean and bright with a nautical theme. Amy the waitress was super friendly and kept the coffee coming. Breakfast was delicious. Chris makes a delicious omelette. The hash was from a can but it was super crispy the way hash should be. The portions were good and the price was fair. I didn’t mention how delicious the coffee was. Ken paid forward for a Veteran’s breakfast. So, if you’re in Lakeville and it’s breakfast time, stop in and eat here !!!”
