“My wife and I went out to lunch today in Locust Valley, NY. Last July, the LVI Bistro changed owners. Marcel has owned the restaurant for over 40 years. They had an excellent reputation and their food and serve was always high quality. This was our first visit since the change and we found it was quite good. We sat down in the bar room and was greeted by the new manager, Andrea. He was very nice and gave us their new menus. Everything looked great from the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. My wife wanted something light, so she ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken strips. I ordered a hamburger with fries. Rita, a waitress from the previous owner, chatted with us about the change and was very positive. There is a new chef, who prepares the food and has a quick turnaround. Both our meals were delicious and were served hot. We talked with the manager and he told us they were going to decorate and renovate the formal dining, the upstairs dining area and the bar room area. We were excited that this local restaurant was getting some loving care from the new owners.We enjoyed our lunch time and enjoyed our experience at the LVI Bistro. When we asked for the check, Andrea brought a dish of tiramisu with two spoons. He told us the desserts were all homemade. It was excellent and was a great way to end our meal.This is a new LVI Bistro and they made a great first impression on both of us. If you're in the Locust Valley area please make some time and try the new LVI Bistro. The service, the food and the atmosphere is great for a meal with two or ten people. I ordered a burger and fries to go. Within 10 minutes I was walking out the door. Food in hand. “We went for lunch when we were leasing a new car across the street at the Nissan Dealership. We had the grilled chicken sandwich which were very tasty. The owner came over and comped us an order of potato wedges. They were also very good. We will go back next time we are in the area. Very good customer service.“

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“Outstanding burgers. They make the chop meat there with a special blend of different meats and spices. They make the buns too and they are outrageously delicious. The fries are great and the chicken tenders are excellent. It's a cool joint like an old burger joint from when I was a kid growing up in the city type vibe. “This place is very close to Winthrop Hospital making it a good place to go while waiting while someone has outpatient surgery. I ordered the PS Texas burger which was very tasty with nice,crisp bacon. I changed up the side and got half onion rings and half sweet potato fries. Very accomodating staff. My sister had the PS Grilled Chicken and Avacado. She wasn't able to finish it because this thing was HUGE! Very generous portions all around. She took half of it home. Since we had a long wait, we decided on dessert. I ordered the Fried Vanilla Ice cream. It was done to perfection. My sister had the Chocolate Brownie with ice cream and caramel. The brownie was nice and warm , just enough to make the ice cream melt down the side of it. It looked really good and again, a generous portion.The time we went( 1:30pm) it wasn't very crowded so we stayed a long while and were not rushed out of the place. Worth stopping in for lunch and in my opinion, prices are very reasonable for the area.“

“I recently ordered from Bryams Pizza Company, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! I work security and can't leave my post so I'm hesitant to order from places I've never ate . I tried their spinach & tortellini along with a Philly cheese steak, and both were exceptionally delicious. What caught my eye was not just the amazing taste but also the impeccable packaging - everything arrived perfectly intact. Moreover, their delivery was surprisingly quick, which made the entire experience even better. “Classic American food! Burger and fries. Sid’s is an ideal spot for a delicious burger with some Cajun-seasoned fries. Good customer service and I received my food fairly quickly.You don't need McDonald's when you have Sid’s. I do recommend trying their brownies as a finisher. I will return for more awesome food.“

“I have been following this shop on Ig for a while and finally got around to trying it. Incan happily say I was not disappointed. I had the Jackpot with honey money mustard and my fiance had a chicken caesar wrap and we split drunken fries. All of it was delicious. Both of ours had plenty of chicken and taste. “Choppers Burger Bar in Glen Head. The beef, chicken, and catfish burgers can be served in generous lettuce wraps filled with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and anything else that you like. “Came in for dinner with my kids(we are visiting from Massachusetts) we put them back at the hotel and we came back cuz the vibe was so great! Food was AHH-MAZING! Service was on point ! Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. If they are making money they will stay open. HIGHLY recommend!! Allof the servers and bartenders were great! Cant say enough about this place!! 5“

“The location is attached to the end of a craft beer market. Little hard to find. Have to continue walking past it outside and there's a door on the side. They do serve food however I didn't try any. I sampled the house lagers, IPA's and Stouts. Their main stout is absolutely phenomenal. The IPA's left a little to be desired for me. I like my IPA's with more of a hoppy bite at the end. The Lager was incredibly smooth and would be a great all day tailgating beer. Bar managers were very insightful about the products they had. Would recommend.“

“Have been visiting this place since 2017 (it was “Chick-In” then). The food is so good! Not everyone likes peri peri spices, so research the spices before trying out. We always order ahead, as they make the food fresh and it takes time to cook the chicken to desired level. We usually order whole chick in style chicken. Their corn on the cob and fries really complement the chickens. The same lady has been serving us since 2017 and I truly believe she is the SECRET TO THIS PLACE’S SUCCESS. “My husband and I were in Long Island for a birthday and decided to stop by here to have wings because I was cravings wings. He said these were great and he'd been coming here for some time. I didn't have high expectations based on their ratings but I gave them a shot . I had the mild buffalo wings and they were delicious . Nothing out of the ordinary but they hit the spot ! “I decided to try this place out today for the first time. So glad I did! I got the Spicy Thigh Burger which is basically just a spicy fried chicken sandwich using the dark thigh meat. Yummmmmm!!! Next time I want to get the incredible burger which comes with egg and ham!! I will definitely come again. The spicy sauce was so good and not overpoweringly spicy or anything. A nice clean establishment with friendly service where they will provide a cup of water at no charge if you ask for it.“

“The Hyde park location was what you should expect from a Shake Shack location. The only hit was due to a lot of items being out of stock. Staff at the location were efficient and showed some pride in their efforts. While waiting for food I watched the expediter clean areas in-between orders. Trash was high at one spot so she used a gloved hand to compact it down. To my delight the associate changed gloves and washed hands before handling the next order. Thank you!“

They never mistaken my impossible burger for a real burger, which has happened to me many times with other burger places.Just one complaint...too much salt!! “One of my favorite breakfast places in Westchester. My fiancé and I usually go here and then head for a walk at the beach. Their pancakes are some of the best around. They taste delicious and are so fluffy and airy. They also have the best omelets and home fries. The cafe is run by a husband and wife. They are the sweetest and kindest people.
