“We ordered the food for takeout, and Don Chuys sure did not disappoint. We got a shrimp and beef chimichanga, side of chips and churros for dessert. The chimichangas were a pretty big size, we were able to save half for dinner. The churros were the perfect taste and consistency. All super delicious!! The salsa is homemade as well as the chips. Can’t wait to try other items from their menu.“

“This was our first time going here and certainly won't be our last. It's quite the trek from home but totally worth it. The food is fresh and flavorful, the staff is attentive and personable. The fish and birria tacos were better than I've had anywhere else.“

“This is my first Yelp review ever but this modest little restaurant deserves it. Not only is the food surprisingly delicious but the owners and staff are warm, welcoming and generous. They always offer something while waiting for take out and when eating in they take the time to talk to you and make you feel part of things. They even remember me from one visit to another which is something I never experienced before. I fully recommend. Everything is good but we particularly love the Burria tacos only served on weekends as well as the specials they offer which are always .. well... special!“

“We three ate here today. Tony, visiting from Ireland, and I each had the 1/2 rack of ribs which we both agreed was excellant, fall off the bone good. I had as my 2 sides collard greens and corn. Both sides were very good, seemed to have a slight pickled flavor and went down easily. She had the pulled pork sandwich, which she found excellent to include the thin bread, and she had to have the bread pudding for dessert, which was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so we had to help her finish it as it was too big for one person! Definitely the best rib place for both ribs and sides, we look forward to returning. The interior may seem a bit small but in the good sunny sumertime they have outdoor seating for well over a hundred diners. There's plenty of free parking, it's all located in the area behind Fairchild's Funeral parlor. The service is friendly and timely. Do yourself a favor, if you like ribs, you'll like the SmokHaus.Parking: Huge free parking lot behind behind the restaurant“

“First I visited the restaurant when I was on my way to Texas then I saw this this place and there were a lot of food options then I ask for the recommendation and they told me that the burrito ball is really good because I can put anything in it or you can say that it is more like a custom ball, then I take there there recommended food and it was really good and it is more healthy so I gave it 10/10 specialty with there white and chipotle sauces so I recommend you guys this place for healthy and value for money food.“

“A unique restaurant offering Mexican and Italian cuisine. My partner and I started off with a delicious Greek salad and then both had fajitas. There was an abundance of the chicken and steak in the fajitas. They came out sizzling hot and were seasoned nicely and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not large and has a friendly and family atmosphere. Definitely check it out!!!“

“Went there for the first time yesterday for my lunch. SO GOOD! The Mongolian beef tacos are UHHMAZINGGG. Loved the carne taco. The Thai chicken taco was okay but it just wasn’t my favorite. Their pineapple salsa is SLAMMINNNN. I also got a chicken taco that was good too. I will definitely be going back soon :)))“

“Top Mexican restaurant of all time. We don’t get tired of the place nor the food. Top notch! The manager Cesar is incredibly welcome, so attentive, and keeps the place organized. Adan also greets you with a smile and always makes sure you are well taken care of. Paola and Darwin at the bar makes you have an amazing experience with any drink and their customer service is just top. Overall, we love this place and always recommend it to family and friends.“

“That girl with glasses and smart hair is really rude when serving, whether or not she is part of the owners, whatever, she should not be rude when serving people, she has a bitter face and that's the same with her service, you ask about some lemons and looks at you as if you are asking him to go take them down from the tree... such a service is in bad taste when one tries to eat in peace“

“Nice local owned restaurant serving Mexican and Peruvian cuisine. The server was very sweet and friendly. Definitely try their local inca drinks. Mine was made with Passion fruit. It was so refreshing and good. Loved their ceviche had a great kick of spice and lemon to it. Also the salted steak was very good too. Portions were large so i wrapped half of my meal to take home.“

“Excellent Mexican food at a very good price. The place is not fancy, but if you want authentic Mexican food at a great price, this is the place for you. We ordered 4 tacos, the mixed grill entree, 2 sides, and a natural juice. Everything was delicious even after being reheated the next day. The service was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be returning.“

“We were a bit skeptical at first since it appeared to be more of a commercial side and we usually prefer authentic Mexican cuisine. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was not only delicious, but also authentic and well-portioned, all at a reasonable price.“

“My Fiancé l live in Huntington Beach about 15 minutes away from Owen’s Tacos. We decided to try this place and as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the person behind the counter who was very attentive, probably the owner. Any ways, with so many things to chose from we decided to try the steak nachos and hamburger with fries. Let me say that we were very impressed with the service and quality of food. The nachos had good size pierces of steak and the whole plate was delicious. The hamburger you could tell was seasoned inside and it tasted amazing, you will not be disappointed if you like Latin American style hamburgers. We also had the Horchata drink which is a typical Central American grain based sweet water drink. Amazing!“

“I discovered this gem via a google search and needed a same day order for 16 people. They open early and when I called they were SO helpful and confirmed they could have the food ready later that day. The food was neatly packaged and hot when picked up. The group loved everything - burritos; tacos; quesadillas; guacamole; and pico de gallo. Food was authentic and delicious - highly recommend!!!“

“Amazing authentic Mexican/ Salvadoran cuisine. Three of us tried: 1) torta milanesa - chicken was tender and the bread was soft, very filling, we brought half home, 2) seafood soup- so much seafood (crab, fish, shrimp, mussels, squid, clam) and huge- very big, good to share among 3 people if you're sampling lots of dishes, 3) birria tacos which were flavorful and fresh (didn't come with consommé), 4) al pastor tacos, touch of sweetness, 5) pork, cheese, beans papusa (very filling, we shared 1, 6) guacamole which was presented in a traditional bowl and wasn't too spicy and 7) a elote tamale but haven't tried it yet bc we were so full so we packed it to-go. Service was good and the place had fun music videos playing. We would gladly come back. Everything was fresh, tasty and affordable.“

“Saw an ad for this restaurant on social media and was interested in their $25 per person all you can eat tacos ( 2 hour time limit). They advertised $10 Margaritas as well, so my wife and I decided to give them a try on Taco Tuesday and made a reservation with inkind app. When we arrived, the parking lot was full, but we were able to find Street parking pretty quickly. You'll need to eat about 6 tacos before it's worth the $25 so be sure to come hungry and don't get appetizers like the chips and guac (which are extra $, though tasty). Unfortunately, the delicious margaritas served in fun vessels were not in fact $10 as advertised but $15, which was a bit of a disappointment. With the special, you can get up to 4 tacos per person at a time and they can be any combination from the variety of about 12 kinds that they have. Highly recommend the sushi-grade tuna lettuce cup taco, the Baja fish taco, and the fried chicken taco.Beware, they top everything with cilantro, so if you're not a fan of the flavor, this may not be your spot. The place was decorated well and had a very busy/live atmosphere so I definitely recommend reservations for the Tuesday special. It can get a bit loud too so definitely not an Intimate spot. The chairs were a bit painful as I'm a bigger guy and they had little bumps that poked into my legs making me need to keep readjusting, but they have benches along the wall also.Would definitely try again - Maybe their regular menu next time.“

“On a torrential rainy evening while the Best Buys parking lot in Westbury NY our car battery died -with my 93 year mother inside - as we waited (4 hours ) for AAA to come jump the car. The only bright light of the evening was Tacombi. Drenching wet, I was greeted by the most gracious and kind manager Alec who took such care and consideration of my mother and myself. We had delicious hot food and watemelon juice. Alec personally took extra care and interest in my elderly mother when she was having a most difficult night . I am so grateful -Thank you! thank you!“

“I came across this place in search of Birria Tacos. When I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and a smile behind the counter. I sat down and waited for my order to be prepared, which only took about 15 min or so (not bad). The place is small, cute, clean, and has lots of beverage options. My Birria Tacos came with 3, and a small cup of consume. The presentation was beautiful! The tacos were a little plain to me, but with the sauce they were good, it had a nice kick to it!“

“I had tripe tacos, which were big and tasty. The server took a few minutes to take my order, and the restaurant was cold, but the temperature was corrected after a while. The TV was also loud. I had only eaten there once, but I would definitely return for more tacos.“

“Always passed this place and finally stopped in as I was in the mood for a burrito and wow I am disappointed in myself for not having this sooner! The burrito was a size and comes with some chips and salsa. I had the pinto bean and cheese burrito and added chicken and it was outstanding! The chicken was very flavorful and the beans and cheese were perfect and it hit the spot! Chips were perfectly cooked and salted and salsas were very good as well. Didn’t know they have been around 30 years and to be in business that long you know it’s good stuff and it definitely is and definitely something you must try!“

“My family and I came here for lunch -- I liked the vibes in here -- you sit at picnic tables and everything gets served in paper baskets, so it's definitely casual bar-esque vibes. The food came out pretty fast, and I would say our favorites were definitely the boneless wings and rice bowl - wings are wings and the rice bowl was full of toppings and a decent sized portion. The cornbread was a bit of a disappointment because we expected it to be more fresh, but it came out cold and dry. The loaded nachos were decent but pretty average.“

“I've never been to this small chain before but I've been interested.Had a specialist appointment far from home and rushed out late w no time for breakfast.Popped in after my appointment in hunger fog with emerging caffeine headache. I ordered the first few things I saw on the sign - no questions or investigation as to what I ordered - just wanted food asap. It's straight forward, fresh, and delicious. I'm in the parking lot mobile ordering a coffee elsewhere and it is taking extreme discipline to not pop in for one more crispy-chicken taco to go. I'm stuffed and need that caffeine STAT but the sauce on the chx taco was soooo good.Young ppl on shift friendly and polite.Dining room painted cute. Thematically related music piped in at comfortable volume. (Was hoping for a little Fania All Stars but to be fair that's more NYC Latin not really Tex-Mex).Will return on the day of my next appointment w this doctor - and will explore other locations hoping ? they're similarly satisfying.“

“Went for lunch this past Monday. Ordered chicken and steak tacos, & the guacamole with chicharron. The guacamole was bland, and the chicharron was not fresh. For that reason, I was going to give the food a 2 until I had the chicken tacos. Those were great, and so were the steak ones. Our server Adriana was attentive and provided good service. Great atmosphere, the music was playing. Will be back.“

“Welcoming, New Peruvian Restaurant in Byram, right on the Greenwich CT and Port Chester NY border. Greeted by a smiling hostess asking how she could be of assistance. I ask for a take-out menu and was guided to the dinner menu. Wanting to stay with Peruvian food I was familiar with, I went with: Chupe de Camarones; Ceveche de Pescado; and Saltado de Camarones. The shrimp soup was a little different, but as good as, any that we have had in this area. The broth had a little more milk than others and I don't believe I've ever had a couple of small pieces of chicken in the soup either. The "stir-fry" shrimp, with scallions, tomatoes, and peppers over French fries w/a nice side of white rice was very tasty. The marinated mixed fish was extremely fresh and properly marinated at the same time. It is one of the very best Ceveche's we've had in a very long time! Will we be back.....?We can't wait to sample the rest of their menu.“

“Stopped in here with my wife today. It was 3:30 on Friday, we were the only ones in there, as we expected at that time. It was nice to see a family run restaurant. The owner was the chef, his wife and daughter the servers. Food was really good. We started with the guacamole and we ordered the mussels. The chef came out and said the mussels came in a little small today and asked if we would like the clams instead. We said why not. The broth in this clam dish was fantastic. Then he came back out and asked if we want to try his carrot soup. One of the best soups I've literally ever had. Then we finished with steak fajitas and the flautas. Both great dishes. They were really friendly and nice people. We really appreciated their service and kindness. Also don't forget to get the red sangria it's amazing.“
