“Great wines, beautiful views from the spacious patio!“
“My husband and I had lunch at the Cafe in early November. We had a beautiful view of the lake from inside.
The cafe menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. My husband had a burger and I had a delicious salad. We shared a flight of wine. The portion of wine for the flight was at least double other wineries.
We will definitely return to Wagner.“

“If you’ve seen the movie “The Menu” this is the Seneca Lake equivalent however without the tragic ending. Watch the movie then go to this place because the food is phenomenal, maybe you’ll see the connection. In all seriousness great place to eat, recommend reservations in advance, if you love German cuisine this is a must while in the Lake Seneca region. Indoor and outdoor seating, it’s just a fantastic place and would tell anyone to go and give it a rip for the experience and food.“
“First time at this place, (not to the finger lakes though). After a long day of work and travel, it was the perfect wine down place for pizza and beer, and not just any pizza. The best Pizza and Beer. Amazing servers. Josh was so welcoming and made us want to come again!“
“Fantastic stop! The Valentine pairings were really great! Descriptions was spot on. On our list of must stops winery list!“
“we recently stayed a Grist Iron and the staff was great and the lodge was great. We had dinner also at the brewery and everything was delicious and the staff was great. they had live music and it was a very enjoyable experience. we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.“
“We happened upon Lucky Hare, and are so glad we did! We each purchased flights; I really enjoyed the unfolding flavors of ‘Die Fledermaus’ & ‘Big Gourd’. Burgers and fries were scrummy, and service was super-friendly. Thank you!“
“Wonderful winery! I wish I caught the gentleman’s name that only works weekdays but he was so personable and we had the best time. Wine was great but the experience was greater. Dog friendly as well.
Out of all the wineries we would put this one as #1“
“Great beer amazing views. The patios are amazing. Did not stay for the live music but they were setting up would be a great place to spend an evening. Only downfall is limited food menu but again a brewery. Have a decent local wine selection as well for the non beer drinkers“

“Made a tasting appointment for the early afternoon and Juan was an amazing server. He steered us on an amazing path and described the wines in great detail. On our last round of tastings we let him choose for us and he got it right. We also got the meat and cheese board for $16 which was a must. Clean and modern atmosphere with an amazing riesling selection. We were also able to purchase bottles of wine after our tasting was over. Would definitely return again especially if Juan is working!
Thank you Juan!“

“This family run diner takes me back to the 1970s when I worked in my parent’s diner in Valois. I had scrambled eggs, sausage hash browns and coffee. I asked for extra crispy on the hash browns and they took me seriously. Delicious.
It wasn’t busy when I was there. Don’t know how it holds up when busy.“
“Great wine, beautiful view of the lake and friendly, helpful staff. Sam did our tasting and was excellent!“
“Great selection and helpful personnel.“

“My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Glenora on a sunny, fall afternoon! Wonderful, friendly service and the food was unexpectedly delicious! It was cool, but we chose to sit on the deck to take in the incredible view. The staff was accommodating when we asked to start one of the patio heaters for us. We started with two glasses of sparkling - one blanc de blanc and one brut. We enjoyed both, they were very well-balanced. We then ordered the Squash Pumpkin soup and the Chicken Pot Pie. The soup was hearty, well-seasoned, and full of fall flavors. The pot pie came in a crock and was topped with a flaky, buttery crust, reminiscent of a french croissant. The pot pie filling was perfectly seasoned and had large pieces of chicken and potato (all tasted home-made - no can of cream of chicken soup in here!) The crock sat on a serving board and had a salad alongside - beautiful presentation! Overall, our experience was top-notch and can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!“
“Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.“

“Just got the chicken pesto panini and fries with a side of pesto. Hands down the best panini I have ever had. The pesto is amazing and is so good with the fries too. The grilled chicken on the sandwich is perfectly done. Will definitely be ordering again.“
“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“Although the restaurant was busy today we were seated, waited on, and served in a reasonably amount of time. The food was good and the wait staff was friendly and accommodating, especially since we wanted a window table that had not been bussed yet.“
