“Good food and a nice atmosphere. I do wish the Szechuan food was a little more spicy, but the dishes we got, like Shrimp with silken tofu, Szechuan fish fillet with tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and Green Beans was very good. Prices are a little high and portions were small compared to Flushing, but the difference was not extravagant, and for three people we were able to be full for about $90 pre-tip, which is respectable.“

“Highly recommended!! We had a wonderful experience here! Such an excellent dining experience—beautifully cooked dishes made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The space is charming yet refined, ideal for an intimate date night or an elegant family gathering. Service was warm, polished, and attentive throughout. !“

“Incredible above and beyond authentic and luxury Chinese cuisine in the heart of Long Island City. Our server Tony was a master of ceremony with being able to keep our dining experience seamless and so enjoyable on Chinese New Year eve. The food was so delicious, so flavorful and huge portions. The pre-fixe is a fantastic deal. Jing Li restaurant is a gem!!!“

“This jianbing cart will definitely become a go-to for me! Located in Court Square, it's a convenient stop and it takes about 15-20 minutes for your order to be made.
In the past, I've tried a couple jianbing in the past but didn't like them as I felt that it was too heavy and carb-y. However, one thing that I did like about this cart is that they really fill your jianbing with fillings, meat, and sauces. The pancake itself is also softer and easier to eat (like a wrap). While I would say that it is on the pricy side (at least in comparison to Flushing), I did really enjoy these and can see myself coming back a lot. (Loved their top seller with beef sausage as well as their peking duck one!)“

“Saw a lot of unfriendly reviews, decided to leave one as someone born and raised in Northwest China. The noodles and buns so flavorful, meat is fresh and tender. The food here is soul food for me, bringing me back to my childhood. If anyone complaining it’s too spicy or oily, they’ve never had authentic Northwestern Chinese food before.“

“We had a great time eating hot pot here. The coconut chicken hot pot is delicious, and the service is also great. The staff helped us cook the chicken, distributed the soup to everyone, and even helped us pick chicken out when it’s in the best texture. The ingredients are also high quality. Highly recommend!“

“My partner and I were in the neighborhood and got really excited when we saw a soup dumpling spot around the corner.
We ordered the pork xiao long bao and the pork and crab xiao long bao, both were super fresh and delicious, especially for the price (~$18 for both). We eat a lot of XLB and Asian food in general, so trust us when we say it’s worth checking out!
The staff are really kind, honest, and seem genuinely hardworking.
I definitely recommend trying this place at least once if you get the chance, whether you’re stopping in or ordering on a food app. We’ll definitely be coming back :) Excited to try their other dishes!“

“I'm vegetarian. They have many dishes I can enjoy. Try their General Tso's tofu. It's delicious.
Vegetarian options: I enjoyed their General Tso's tofu, their vegetable Lo Mein. I've had their Vegetarian version of Singapore Mei Fun. All delicious. Try the fried plantains (tostones) as a side dish. I've even enjoyed their mixed vegetables with black bean sauce with brown rice. Their string beans with garlic sauce is great too.“

“I stopped by Dunhuang around 3:00 PM and was happy to find their Lunch Special runs until 4:30 PM—a huge plus for late lunchers. I ordered the 土豆牛腩 Potato Braised Beef Rice plate, which came with a complimentary Diet Coke. Honestly, the food itself was 5-star quality for the price. The portion was incredibly generous, the beef was tender and plentiful, and the presentation was spot on, complete with half a perfectly marinated tea egg.
However, the service was a tale of two halves. I was initially served by a younger female staff member who was professional and efficient. But once the shift changed and an older female server took over, the vibe shifted a bit. She was performing what I can only describe as 'selective hospitality.' She was showering a non-Asian table nearby with a level of cloying, syrupy attention, with she being giggling and acting as if she were on a first date with him. Meanwhile, she completely iced out me and the Chinese couple at the next table. We were treated like we were invisible—no eye contact, no check-ins, nothing.
I still left an 18% tip because the kitchen staff did their job well, but the 'service' from this lady was embarrassing to witness. If you’re here for a quick, solid meal, the food won’t let you down—but don't expect a warm welcome unless you fit a certain profile.“

“Your typical Chinese small eat in takeout.
Chicken fried rice had lots of chicken and egg rolls were delicious.
Must be that different Chinese cultures have different versions of fried rice.
This rice has a high moisture content and the rice is yellow but it was still delicious.“
“I order sashimi weekly and Win Shing has become my “go-to” takeout restaurant for sushi. The quality of their fish & its preparation is excellent and the portions are generous. Their delivery is incredibly fast and they offer a great discount on Seamless of $10 off for large orders. Highly recommend.“
“Bought some delicious pork and chive dumplings after work the other day. Since there was only one worker making the food and taking orders, I did have to wait but it was a nice day and I didn’t mind. Will be going again and would recommend.“

“Best American-style Chinese food in the area, full stop. PERFECT EGGROLLS. Excellent pork fried wontons and general tsao's chicken and wonton soup. I only go here even though it is several subway stops away. It tastes exactly as you hope it will, texture, flavors, just great!“

“I've decided to edit my review, not only kicking it up to 5 stars, but to tell you the PERFECT winter Chinese dinner for 2: C34 (combo meal) plus their wonton soup. It comes with one perfectly fried eggroll, so get an extra, crunchy and delicious, the Hunan Shrimp is filled with crunchy vegetables with delicately spiced seasoning. We got a quart of the soup: Their wontons are not at all soggy combined with the perfectly flavored soup -- it was all excellent. My son had a taste and I had to rip it out of his hands to get my share, but the portion is very generous and was enough for two, so it's extremely reasonably priced. I highly recommend, enjoy!“

“Everything was super delicious! 5 star for the food! We tried the mapo tofu, Lao Gan Ma chicken, fried prawn with crispy chili, and the la zi ji. We absolutely loved everything, so flavorful and satisfying. Super recommended! We will definitely be back to try the Peking duck next time!“
