“I’ve known Spot for over 10 years, since their very first location on St. Marks. Over the years, they’ve expanded to more locations, including LIC and Flushing. Since the LIC location is close to where I live, I was genuinely excited when they opened in this area.

Their Green Tea Lava and Golden Toast have been amazing since day one and remain consistently great even now. Back then, the dessert was called Green Tea Lava Cake. It seems they later renamed it to Matcha Lava, likely to give it a more premium feel.

This time, I also tried one of their newer desserts an ube-based dish. It was okay and didn’t particularly stand out, but I do appreciate that they continue to update their menu seasonally and introduce new items.

Overall, it’s great to see the brand evolving while maintaining the quality of the classics that made it popular in the first place.“

“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

I stopped by to try the crepes, donuts & waffles that’s made with halal ingredients! Besides their ice cream & shakes, they even make fruit juices that’s refreshing on a hot summer day! I loved the watermelon one the most!

I ordered the Cookies & Cream along with a pie, and everything was honestly so good, but what really stood out was the service. The workers, Rob and Noah, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient the entire time. They made the visit feel warm and enjoyable, and you could really tell they cared about giving customers a good experience. It honestly made the night even better. We left with a pint of biscoff lotus gelato that was so good. Really rich flavor and the pint had ribbons of biscoff caramel. I can’t wait to go back. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we finished it on one seating because everything was delicious. We ordered all the flavors, it was original cheese, original cheese with blueberry, chocolate, matcha, black sesame and ube. My favorite was UBE and ORIGINAL CHEESE WITH BLUEBERRY. The crust is perfect, its crunchy and not thick. The filling is silky and smooth, not heavy unlike other cheese tarts. Price rating: 6/10, it was not that bad for the price. All flavors are good!
