“Joe at Carvel is seriously one of the best employees I have ever met. Not only is he super kind and helpful, but he’s also incredibly handsome and funny. Every time I go in he makes the whole experience better just by being there. His smile is contagious and he has this way of making everyone laugh while still being professional. Honestly, he’s the kind of person who could brighten anyone’s day.
He’s not just funny for a joke or two either, he has this natural sense of humor that makes every interaction enjoyable. And on top of that he’s so handsome it’s hard not to notice. Even when the store is busy he stays calm, organized, and continues being both funny and friendly. He remembers regular customers and always takes the time to make people feel welcome, which shows how much he truly cares.
Joe’s handsomeness is one thing, but combined with his kindness and humor it makes him unforgettable. He knows the menu really well and gives great suggestions, all while cracking little jokes that make the experience feel personal. He has this ability to make people smile no matter what kind of day they’re having. I’ve never met anyone else at a store who is so funny, charming, and handsome all at the same time.
Even his coworkers seem to really like having him around because he helps out without being asked and keeps the mood light with his humor. And yet he never loses focus on giving customers the best experience. His handsomeness, his funny personality, and his kindness make him someone who stands out in a huge way.
Honestly, Joe makes coming to Carvel something I look forward to. I tell friends all the time that they need to meet him because he’s not just good at his job, he’s genuinely funny and handsome and makes the whole store a better place. I’ve never met anyone like him before. His combination of humor, kindness, and handsomeness is rare and makes every visit memorable.
I can’t recommend Joe enough. If you go to this Carvel and get served by him you will immediately understand why I’m writing this. He is funny, he is handsome, he is kind, and he makes every visit amazing. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. He deserves all the praise anyone can give. “So freaking delicious! Portions are huge in my opinion for stuffed arepas, so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Tried the fruit salad as well, the fruit was fresh and presentation was so nice although it was a takeout order. There is definitely a little bit of a wait time on your food, they are making it with love… so be patient. Will be back to try more!“

I stopped by to try the crepes, donuts & waffles that’s made with halal ingredients! Besides their ice cream & shakes, they even make fruit juices that’s refreshing on a hot summer day! I loved the watermelon one the most!
The have a few seats inside but more seating outside.“

“This place has always looked inviting whenever I would walk by, so I decided to give it a try. I got their Oreo Cup, it was delicious! When I saw the price at first, I thought it was kind of pricey, but once I got my order, I saw how large the serving was, and I realized it was well worth what you pay for! I definitely would recommend for locals or visitors in Bay Ridge.“

“Love their cookies! I’ve only gotten these for free on national cookie day or my bday lmao, but still very solid! V small storefront. Not usually a fan of thicker cookies, but I still really like these, and their thin options are chewy. Def better than Crumbl and Levain“
“I love desserts, and the pictures of the tarts from this place looked really tempting, so I decided to give it a try. The shop is actually located inside Teazzi Tea Shop, but you can spot the pudding display in the window.
The pistachio pudding was delicious—definitely the highlight and highly recommended. As for the tarts, they’re quite pricey for the size ($6.75 each or $10 for two), and I finished one in just a couple of bites. While they tasted good, they weren’t amazing, especially for the price. I would stick with the pudding next time.“

“My sister and I went to get Italian ices. They were soooo good, especially the coconut flavor. They have many desserts to choose from. I also purchased a biscotti cheese cake that was very good. We met the owner Zaki. He and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. He also mentioned that you can call ahead to place your order to be ready for pick up when you arrive. I thought that was pretty cool. We definitely plan to go back to try his puddings. If you want a sweet treat check them out, you won't be disappointed.“

“I come here almost every other day just to get the pistachio jasmine or just the jasmine tea by itself, I’ve tried lots of pistachio flavored stuff like the ice cream but none of them tastes nearly as good as the pistachio jasmine. The foam is in between light and thick but what hits me is the nutty and sweet flavor that compliments the jasmine drink. Turns out the secret to the taste is a pistachio paste or gel specifically imported from China! I’ve tried at least one item from every category and I’m confident to say that they are delicious (my favorite is the mango passion fruit tiramisu) Overall the environment is kept clean and tidy not to mention the wonderful customer service. I’ll definitely continue visiting this place!!“

I really want to try the yogurt,maybe next time!Got the pepper beef & creamy bacon spaghetti and crabmeat egg sandwich. “Mango mango in JC is always a solid choice, favorite item on the menu is Combo B which gets you the mango pomelo sago and the mango sago with ice cream, and mango pancake. Always consistently great service and taste. Worth a visit if you’re in Jersey City!“

“I feel like every time I come here they are not very friendly to me 🫤 like they’re not very welcoming and it makes me a little uncomfortable. The latte I got was kind of watery. It was still good, but rather thin. Also they don’t offer non-dairy milk. The strawberry camellia tea was refreshing and the mango cheese tea was delicious. Clean and aesthetic facilities. Just cold unwelcoming service and no breakfast pastries.“

“The Crumbl app is very good and super helpful for checking the weekly cookie menu, placing orders, and seeing what’s new. Everything loads fast and it’s easy to use. The only thing I’d warn people about is if you plan to pay in cash — make sure you bring at least $10. Sometimes the in-app price doesn’t match exactly when you get to the store, so you might need a little extra. Besides that, it’s a great app and makes ordering Crumbl a lot easier.“
