“The place is amazing. The only problem called Eni. All other girls are amazing. Avoid her by any means because she is horrible to her coworkers. Many great people (bartenders left) left because she was mean to them. The place is great for local late night drinks as long as Eni is not working.“

“We returned on a visit to McLoughlins 38 years after it was the initial beacon on my arrival in the USA. From there I linked up with my friends , got a contact for a job , heard about accommodation going for rent and bumped into old friends. It created a network and a safety net for a whole generation of Irish immigrants. John is carrying on the traditional welcome provided by his father and uncle. He could not have been more helpful or kind as well as having that natural gift of the gab good barmen possess. Drinks were also fine“

I recently changed work neighborhoods, and this place instantly became my favorite. The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, and late nights are full of industry folks, the kind of crowd that makes it feel like a neighborhood spot.

To top it off…the have the NFL ticket (as a Seahawks fan, that’s gold it is nearly impossible to catch a game on this side of the country, but here they’ve got me covered). Great food, great vibe…exactly what you want in a pub.

Vegetables are not fresh & not enough quantity. “Madame Mikettes was busy so we came here for post-happy hour bites. Food was great. Cocktails were great but the highlight of our night was Edina. She was so warm, so welcoming, so professional. We didn't have to wait a minute too long for service, she was able to make recommendations on food and drinks and she brought me dessert before dinner (a commitment to myself post-cancer). She handled our big group effortlessly and I would come back just to see her again. Definitely recommend this place and Edina specifically!!“

“I just recently moved back to Bay Ridge after years away. Going into Bean Post I was welcomed and felt right at home on my 1st visit. The Food is fantastic and the mixed drinks they know how to pour them in Brooklyn. They offer fantastic meals especially there Thanksgiving meals you can pick up. My girlfriend had major surgery about 2 weeks ago. It was not possible for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal. WE ordered 2 Thanksgiving meals and the portions were amazing and a value we could not find anywhere else. The Turkey Dinners we purchased and the joy we had sharing Thanksgiving together with our dinners from Bean Post made it a Wonderful Holiday. We are now looking forward to ordering Christmas dinners from Anthony and his family. They treated us well. THANK YOU!“
