“It was clean and everyone who works there is nice. It is in a busy area traffic wise, but it is a great place for crussaunts and cookies. I do not recommend their lemonade though because it is very tart. But over all it is a great 4.6 star restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to all kids but in a traffic busy area of Malverne.“

“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items.My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! “The croffles here are really good! I really like the blueberry, Oreo, and cherry flavors! They are pretty big and the price is very reasonable! The mochi donuts are ok, I'd rather get a croffle for two more dollars. The space is pretty tight so it can't accommodate large groups unless you go to the outside seating areas. Each time I have gone the staff have been eh, lots of workers scrambling around and not being helpful, but other than that the quality of the croffles out weighs my annoyance with the staff.“

I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

It's very spacious, the drinks are delicious, and the employees here are exceptionally cordial.The atmosphere changes depending on the time of day - it's usually relatively quiet earlier in the day, which makes it a great place to work or study. It picks up around 3 p.m., where you can find groups of friends hanging together or playing the board games Coffee Monster has available.The cafe is a clean environment (which includes its bathroom!), reliable WiFi, and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. “Came here for breakfast and I absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly, the menu had a variety of options everything sounded so good! Not going to lie from the outside it doesn't look that nice but different once inside. There are booths and it's really just a cozy place to have coffee, breakfast or lunch. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and the portion was very generous and it was delicious. I ordered silver dollar pancakes for my 3 year old (soooo many) ... and my mom had an omelette. Love how they make the hash browns. I also liked how they offer oatmilk for the coffee. Can't wait to come back! IHOP who????“

The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. “I found Java Day Cafe while out in Queens this past Monday. I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and was looking for a cafe to WFH. At the owners recommendation, I ordered The Frenchie, as well as two hash browns (hey don't judge, I was starvin marvin!). The Frenchie consisted of 2 pieces of delicious cinnamon french toast with sausage, egg and cheese nestled inside. I washed it down with a delicious large coffee with almond milk. I chose a table by the window, which had 2 outlets below, so I was able plug away on my laptop and enjoy my food, with no low battery stress. I ended up having three coffees during my stint there and lucky for me, their bathroom was super spacious and clean... love that! All in all, happy to have stumbled upon this awesome Flushing/Auburndale gem!“

Today they were open and I ordered 2 chocolate croissants before I found out they only take Venmo or cash. They were kind enough to take my $7 and and a IOU. The chocolate croissant was good although the only other time I had one was in Paris, the one in Paris was better. But I will be back to pay what I owe and try what the reviewers recommend!“

Very good food (above average diner / deli fare), nice service in this instance by one guy who was doing everything from restocking shelves to running the cash register, and surprisingly reasonable prices. I had a cheese omelette and home fries. The eggs were fluffy and fresh and you could tell the potatoes were done by a real cook who cares. The self-serve coffee was the usual grade of diner coffee but certainly was not bad. I don't think refills were free as in a real diner, however. It's on the second floor of a large Citibank office building. Parking seems adequate, with spaces out front and in a parking lot on the side.“

“Just had the pleasure of having our daughter's 1st birthday party at Cupkins Play Cafe and we can not express enough how amazing of an experience we had. The owners went up and beyond to make sure that my vision came through. They were organized in communication and planning. However they also serve beer and cocktails alongside some quick eats such as burgers, and special menu items such as gumbo or shrimp & grits. The atmosphere is spacious, welcoming and the music is not loud unlike other places. It’s usually jazz music in the background which is perfect for reading and/or studying.
