“I have heard good things about this place and tried a wing or 2 from someone else a couple months ago, and tonight I decided to try them for myself. I got the 10 piece sweet & spicy bone-in wings and the 6 piece Thai sweet boneless wings. I will say the first time I tried them a couple months ago they tasted way better. They weren’t bad but weren’t amazing to me, just a bit too over fried. Or maybe it was the sauce combo that wasn’t good. Pro tip: order pickup from their website & not UberEats if you want to save money.“

“Wasn’t sure what to expect when I stopped here for a quick dinner. Is it a sports bar? Is it a bistro tavern? It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I might stop by again if I’m in the area.“

“Enjoyed a family night out (party of 8). There was only one host/server. He did a good job attending to our party even though there were several other tables and just him. Only gave 3 stars because they didn't have one of the sauces on the menu that we wanted, the lemon pepper sauce wasn't good, the pasta 3 people ordered needed more seasoning, and we couldn't purchase a bottle of the wine we wanted. The kind man gave me options, clarified the nuggest were real chicken not nuggets from McDonald's, I was concerned about how long it would take since I was on a quick stop for food. “I recently discovered this spot and I've been there a few times. The last time was 2 weeks ago. I went to an event called Lemon Drop Thursdays and the Lemon Drop drink was delicious. I went for brunch 2 times before that and the food was delicious and the service was great but it's really busy on a day that is crowded. The atmosphere was excellent and the DJs that be there play the best music. It's a really dope spot!“

“Went for Halal and Those small wings. Food was good. Wings we received were not what we wanted. Ordered 21 wings but they weren't the spicy ones we drove 30 minutes to get. The Halal was good as well. Only thing was we couldn't get a combo of meats (chicken and lamb). Also we didnt get white sauce as expected. Next time we know to request hot sauce and white sauce. As for the inside very small space. Probably 8 to 10 people at time in there. Surely couldn't dine in if you wanted to.“

“This small spot would be bustling with street traffic from the local Mount Vernon government staff at lunch to the barrage of kids getting out of school needing a snack if it were not for COVID. According to local long timers, this place has been around for a while. On recommendation I tried the grilled chicken and rice platter. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy and tender with fluffy seasoned rice underneath and a cool basic lettuce and tomato salad off to the side. All packed neatly in a styrofoam carry out box. The cucumber sauce is worth requesting extra on the side. You'll thank me later. The owner seems to always be there and is quite personable. There's also a little Jamaican booth right inside the store. They seem to stay having business. I hope both spots can withstand the effects of the city shutdown and lack of customers. I'd hate to see them close like many of their neighbors.“
