“My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapeños, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place!“

“For a vegan, nothing much to choose from without modifying menu options. Servers were polite and ready to help. Music was a bit too loud, but patrons seemed to really enjoy the place.Vegetarian options: Needs expanding and more creativity. So many restaurants now have a Beyond burger, salads without cheese/egg, etc.Kid-friendliness: Kids not offered activity like coloring page/crayons, doesn't seem children-oriented.“

“The service was outstanding. Most everyone 3 ot of 4 enjoyed their meal, Chicken Pot Pie, Short Ribs, Steak Sandwich, Crab Cake Sandwich. My brother wasn't entirely happy with Crab Cake Sandwich. Too much bread not enough crab. The wings were definitely Buffalo, I enjoyed, others thought to much heat. More for me! We had a very good time altogether, I will definitely be back.“

“Had a great lunch here with a coworker. Views were great and the food was very good. The Thai chili wings and the cob salad, I can attest, are spot on. The only thing keeping this place from five stars with me is the dining room is a bit cramped. Nevertheless, I'll be back with the wife. She'll enjoy it too I'm sure.“

“Omg!! The food is AMAZING. Service is wonderful, drinks are great and management is on top of everything. It’s so rare to see everything working really well in a restaurant but it was truly great here. Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.“

“If you can get past the extremely loud bar area to the quiet-ish dining room you'll enjoy yourself. The food is okay. Can tell a lot is cooked from frozen pre-made and overcharged but I guess that's business. Fish and chips clearly from frozen. Corn nuggets clearly from frozen. Disappointed in that because these things are not hard to make and I shouldn't really be paying $25 for a few frozen fish sticks.“
“This deli is so underrated! I can’t believe I’ve been so close the whole time and never heard of it! I decided to try after craving a gyro and was so impressed. I also ordered the bean and cheese pupusas which were fantastic. The spanish food is as authentic as it gets around here. Highly recommend this place!! Will most definitely be coming back.“

“Peter’s on the Green is a little hidden gem at the Bellport Country Club. My review is based on my wine which tasted a bit sour but this is coming from someone that is hard to please LOL. My sibling and I visited at the end of November 2023 for an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Our meals came with a salad, mine was Greek and it was delicious. My brother got a chicken dino and I ordered an Uncle Peter (chicken, cheese, pasta…) and we shared a yummy dessert. We both took leftovers home and enjoyed them at a later time. I think the menu selection is great, location is gorgeous and the bathrooms could use an update. Overall, it’s a solid option for a nice lunch.“

“You can't get better food for the price. They also have authentic German beer on tap. This is one of the few places where I will eat a steak because they cook them just as good if not better than me. I have a customer near the restaurant and eating here makes putting up with the traffic bearable.“

“Every time I come here the food is great and so is the service, but it's a once in a while dine for me as it's a bit priceyParking: Yk, depending on the day and what time, there's either plenty of parking or there's no good spots.“

“The service was really amazing. The food was good, but there were a lot of fried foods on the menu. I wish there were a lot more healthier and fresh items to choose from. The place was packed, but the kitchen and the servers kept things moving at a good pace.“

“We had the shrimp tacos which were excellent and packed with shrimp. Three large tacos were a great value and fantastic taste. And the house salad with grilled chicken which was also delicious. Perfect lunch after hours of shopping at Tanger.“
“We went camping here over Labor Day weekend. Our camping game is high (meaning we have lots of gear to make it super comfy), but trying to limit our equipment knowing that we have to carry everything from the ferry to the campsite was stressful. But we did it, and it was 100% worth it! Here is what we learned:It is buggy!! Bring Picaridin spray for the body. We had 2-6 oz cans between 5 people, and we used them both for the 5 day weekend. Spray tents with Sawyer insect repellent to keep the bugs away from the tents. If you have, bring a cart. It is quite a hike with your gear from ferry to campsite, and in the heat is it's not fun. You can borrow carts from the ferry station area. Ask the staff.Bring bungee chords to keep all your equipment in place on the cartsThere is camp store with all necessary supplies, but it is expensive. If you can organize and bring everything from mainland, it will be cheaper. There is boardwalk everywhere. Unless you are wilderness camping on the beach, you won't have to drag anything through sand (phew!!)Choosing a campsite: The map on the reserve america is not clear. Some campsites are two in an alcove area. If you are a group of two sites, you need to pick correctly. Site 10 is solo site. 11/12, 9/8, 7/6 are alcove, the others are in row next to each other. Unlike other campgrounds we have been to, these sites are on the smaller side. In our 11/12 site we luckily picked an alcove area, we had two sleeping tents and bug tent. There is a restaurant at the marina which becomes a disco on the weekend. The food is pretty good, cocktails are not bad!Beach is walking distance from the tents with a lifeguardLots of birds, and very chatty gray catbirds (bring ear plugs! I kid you not! One was right outside our tent at 5 am!!)It seems that a lot of families come back every year on the same weekend, and it felt like close community.National Parks have lots of activities during the day. On Monday they had a canoeing trip. You had to sign up the day of the trip to get a spot.Highly recommend, and we will make it an annual trip!I am not sure the glamping sites are worth the price but we have all camping gear. I can't speak of their comfort.“

“Whoever the breakfast chef was on 3/23/24 you really take pride in your cooking. I haven’t had eggs or any of the sides prepared like this in 20 years of dining out. Im 34. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Not a single dry mark on all of the various egg preps requested. Food came out in 12 mins. Friendlys is severely underestimated in this day and age. Our server Janeen was a blessing. Clear and loving. She went out of her way to ensure my son got a surprise birthday candle the day before his birthday.“

“My dad is a very picky eater with a small appetite. He ordered the senior tuna roll and fries. He ate everything on his plate, which is something I have not seen him do in years. The waitress let him take his ice cream to go. Very nice. Good job, Friendlys!!!! My mom and brother seemed to like their food. I liked my veggie burger and broccoli.“

“I went to Applebee's in Shirley with my daughter on April 6 and I wanted to order their chicken rice bowl. I really like it but I don't like the spices. I have recently been put on a diet with less salt and sugar so I asked my server if they could make it without the spices. He said he would try and he went out of his way to provide me with the best food and experience, he even went as far as to explain to me what he thought was really spicy and what he thought we should put on the side and omit. It turned out delicious and I appreciated so much him taking the time to talk to me. His name is Dereck N. and I truly appreciated him. Great job Applebee's Shirley.Dietary restrictions: I believe that there are very many healthy choices you can choose from if you are on a diet and they make it easy for you to change things so that it fits your needs. Unfortunately sometimes it can be hard to go out to dinner when you have restrictions and what Dereck did for me made it so much better for a person that is struggling with her eating habits.“

“We usually have a great meal there. This time was good, not great. We love their soups but the potatoe leek was far too salty. Surely someone in the kitchen would have tasted it. Also, the filet wasn't seasoned with anything so it was just good, not great. It had no real taste. Our friend who joined us had the rice pudding and it was very bland. A little cinnamon wouldn't hurt and maybe some golden raisens? We go there often so we'll chalk this up as an anomoly .“

“I haven't been to Jimmy's in a while. My breakfast was exactly the same as it was the last time I was there. I used to eat there almost every weekend. The food is cooked perfectly every single time. I have never once had something I did not like. Always a warm feeling when you dine at Jimmy's!!“
