“For my daughter's sweet 16, she insisted on a specific cake in a specific color and size. NYC Birthday Cakes made her dream come true! The order process was extremely easy and I was able to provide a swatch so that they could match the color as best as possible. (color matching fondant is not easy - I've made cakes myself but didn't have the time now) We only had 40 people and 4 layers (6:, 8", 10" & 12") would have been too much cake. So, they made the top layer and bottom layer with a cake form instead of cake. The two middle layers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the vanilla with chocolate mousse. They were absolutely delicious!! The cake was delivered to the venue on time and as promised. These are truly professionals and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a special cake! (FYI - we bought the topper on our own)“

“This place is beautiful and the breakfasts are a delight. We had a great time as a family. This will be my favorite place for breakfast. We bought cake pops and cupcakes for my little ones, and they really enjoyed them. It's worth the price.“

“Seeing my specially themed cake (Chocolate Chocolate Cake, consisting of Chocolate Cake, chocolate pudding, chocolate frosting), was a pleasant surprise. With my background in herbology, I think ByClio Bakery did a commendable job. They patiently listened to what vision was expected during the ordering process (I grow my own fruits and vegetables, including edible flowers), The cake's flowers (Dahlia / Marigold / Calendula /Snapdragon / Craspedia / Chrysanthemum just to identify a few) were edible and evoked a summer vibe, with flavors that matched its attractive appearance. Her honesty influenced my review; she explained the carefully wrapped sunflowers stems used as a finishing touch for the garden theme were not edible. The remaining ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The Mocha had a rich chocolate pudding layer and moist cake, the moose like outer layer was light and whipped, indulging in a second slice did not result in excessive sweetness.“

“We stopped into Les Gateaux de Marie while in NYC and absolutely loved it. Such a cozy little bakery with the sweetest atmosphere. You can immediately tell the owner truly loves what she does and puts so much passion into every detail.

Everything we tried was amazing. The latte, coffee, cupcake, and crispy heart were all so good. We sat down for a few minutes to relax and honestly just enjoyed being in the space. The bakery is beautifully designed and feels so warm and welcoming.

One of my favorite parts was seeing the photos of the cakes she has created over the years. You could really feel her creativity and passion through everything in the shop. Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful, and it ended up being one of those little places that makes a trip feel special. So glad we found it. Everything was affordable! We will be back!“

Since discovering JM, I will drive 2 1/2 hours to get a cake for special occasions..I’ve been doing this for 4 years and never disappointed Gorgeous cake designs and exotic fillings - truly appreciated by everyone. Whenever I bring 1 or even 3 cakes (each with a different theme) - the crowd is in awe and the recipients never want to cut it because the cakes are honestly that beautiful and everyone is in awe. “WOW! If you are looking for an amazing bakery in the city this is the one!!! The cakes are absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. I was very indecisive on what cakes to pick because everything looked so delicious and they were able to help me pick based on what I described to be some of my favorite flavors. I ended up getting the earl grey cake, carrot cake and the chocolate espresso cake!! I got them for my mom’s birthday and my mom and my whole family loved them!!! “I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“Maria’s Sans Rival cake lives up to the meaning of its name, undoubtedly unrivaled. It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

“I went in to buy a cake and they were pretty nice, a lady there immediately asked me what I was looking for and I got my cake in like 5 mins the cashier was kinda shy but nice as well. Only thing is that last time I got like some candles and they just taped it on the box so by the time I was walking home i didn’t even notice it had fallen off which was very sad but other than that service was good ❤️

Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “Love this place. It is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. We ordered the pistachio and grapefruit. We can taste the natural fruit and some pulps in the grapefruit gelato. The pistachio is all natural pistachio. No crazy green coloring and the nut is roasted. We will come back to try the black sesame and coconut next time.“

The cappuccino was a little piece of heaven, the desserts were just a tad sinful, and the whole experience felt like a visit to the Holy Chapel of buttercream and chocolate.
