“You think you've seen it all until you walk into The Donut Pub and see that there are bacon donuts. It seemed like too extreme a test to start with, so I ordered a classic donut flavor and a chocolate one. Classic choices and no room for error, they were delicious, but with only two donut “holes” I was already full.“

I presume the job kinda stinks because every time I go in there, the person behind the register & the people making the donuts look bored & unhappy.
If they're trying to fake being happy & pleasant, they're not very good at it.
Honestly, I don't judge them too harshly on it, customer service is rough.
The donuts are delicious. The coffee isn't but I'm EXTREMELY picky about coffee so don't go by me there.
I'll keep going from time to time because as long as the donuts stay tasty, it's worth the wait time (still wish they'd shorten it a bit tbh).“

“This is the mascarpone donut with jerky on top. It was pretty good but unfortunately the only one they had left at night. I’m told they sell out of donuts very quick and if you’re not first you left with what’s last. This place is the store front of Ra Ra Rhino the small speakeasy behind the donut spot. Another regrettable thing is often there is no one there at night to sell you donuts you will have to go into the speakeasy find the bar tender and coerce them to come up front and sell you a donut. It’s fair to say the service isn’t great late a night but the donuts are pretty good.“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. “The egg toasts were delectable! Actually so happy my sister and I chose to come by. It has a tiny kick of spice which was a pleasant surprise. My sister got the vanilla flat white coffee and she loved it and finished it so quickly. The only thing I wasn't over the
moon for was the corndog. I got the mozarella hot dog corn dog and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again.

The space is small but offers some seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely try to come again for the egg toast specifically.“

It needs to be proportioned correctly to ensure the batter's consistency remains intact: Too much can cause swelling that impedes the flow of the oil. Then pick sugar to roll and flavor: it is naturally and artificially flavred.“

I was ordering mochi donuts and debated picking my last flavor, when the lady behind the counter mentioned the s’mores flavor was really popular and that it didn’t contain gelatin. She saw me in a hijab and abaya and knew to inform me that I could even consider the s’mores flavor as an option. For religious dietary reasons, I usually don’t bother gravitating towards anything with marshmallow, as most places use pork gelatin. I left the shop smiley about customer service and trying a flavor I don’t usually have the luxury of getting. This kind of service where vendors are culturally aware is rare - even in a diverse city like NYC. Definitely was a first time experience at a place that doesn’t explicitly cater towards Muslims or halal eating customers & it meant so much!! Donuts were delicious- everything else looked really cute and yummy too! Much love ????“

“The person on the phone was incredibly kind and patient, even though I had to keep asking him to repeat himself because of the noise on my end. The taco was pretty good, though I was a little disappointed to discover the sauce only after I finished one of them. “I've been on a donut quest in NYC, and 7th Ave Donuts & Diner has the best donuts I've had so far! Their donuts are fresh, fluffy, and perfectly glazed. I especially love their Boston cream.
The staff is also very friendly and kind. They make you feel welcome and are always happy to answer any questions you have.

“very good!!! they serve the classic tanghulus with different fruits. I've already eaten the grape and strawberry ones, I want to go back again to try the others.
The donuts are very tasty and much lighter than a traditional donut, and they come in different flavors.
It's grab and go style, and in the summer it's very comfortable to stay outside, in a space on the street to sit and eat.“
